The Masai Mara is known as one of Africa's Greatest Wildlife Reserves, situated in southwest Kenya. It is famous for its abundance of big cats - lion, leopard and cheetah - the Great Wildebeest Migration and its countless zebras.
Meet the local Maasai people, well known for their distinctive custom and dress, and discover a different way of life. When on a game drive, experience what many people only dream of in a lifetime - days spent side by side with some of the greatest members of the animal kingdom, seen in their natural habitat.
Mombasa is the second largest city in Kenya, located on an island separated from the mainland by two creeks, beyond which are the popular beach resorts of North and South Mombasa. The Mombasa area on Kenya's east coast boasts endless white beaches, coral reefs, water sports and activities and an ancient and exotic culture. Mombasa is a historic city with an old town and Fort Jesus, now a national monument and museum.
Your Itinerary —
Day 1 Nairobi
Upon arrival into Nairobi, clients will be met and transferred to the Safari Park Hotel. Afternoon at leisure.
Overnight at Safari Park Hotel on a bed and breakfast basis. (Check in time 1400hrs approx.)
Day 2 Nairobi - Masai Mara National Reserve
. Travel towards Kenya's fertile highlands and head down the rift escarpment on the road built by Italian prisoners of war during World War II. On the way spot the charming chapel built at the foot of the escarpment. Pass the impressive Longonot earth satellite station as you head across the valley to Narok; continue your travels across acres of wheat and barley, before reaching the Masai Mara in time for lunch. Following lunch set off on your first game drive, returning to the lodge as the sun sets.

Day 3 Masai Mara National Reserve
Following an early breakfast, depart on a morning game drive, returning to the camp mid- morning. After lunch, and perhaps a siesta, set off on another game drive and visit to the Masai Village, returning to the lodge as the sunsets. (It is possible to pre-book an optional early morning Balloon Safari). Overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge or Keekorok lodge on a full board basis.
Day 4 Masai Mara – Lake Nakuru
Leaving the Masai Mara after breakfast, travel across the ‘breadbasket’ of Kenya, where acres of wheat and barley litter the landscape as you head north to Narok, the district headquarters of this part of Maasailand. Now travel across the vast plains on the floor of the Rift Valley, keeping an eye out for herds of giraffe and gazelle as you head up the Mai -Mahiu, before arriving at Lake Nakuru around midday. Once in the park, view game en route to the lodge. Following lunch and a siesta, there is an afternoon game drive returning to the lodge as the sun sets. The national park, known for its birdlife, offers a possibility to view flamingoes. It is also home to Black and White rhinos as well as the endangered Rothschild Giraffe.

Day 5 Lake Nakuru - Nairobi
Following an early breakfast, continue to Lake Naivasha for a boat ride. Leaving the Rift Valley behind, proceed to Nairobi arriving late morning.Dropp off to airport for flight to Mombasa.( lunch own arrangement )Upon arrival in Mombasa transfert to Diani for accommodation at Baobab Beach in standard room on all inclusive basis for 3, 6 or 10 nights.

Mara Sopa Lodge, full board
Located high on the slopes of the Oloolaimutia Hills, Masai Mara Sopa Lodge was one of the first safari lodges to be built in the Maasai Mara Game Reserve, a reason why its gardens and trees are so lush and mature. All the buildings follow the design of traditional African round houses with conical roofs, and these stretch along the line of the hills with the impressively large public area buildings and the swimming pool at their centre.
Keekorok Lodge, full board
Keekorok is located within Kenya’s Maasai Mara National Reserve, which is at an altitude of 1,617 metres above sea level. Located in the very heart of Kenya’s fabled Maasai Mara National Reserve, Keekorok, meaning motley abundance in the local Maasai language, was constructed in 1962 on a choice eighty-acre site in an area of permanent springs and lush grassland.
The Lake Nakuru Lodge is situated in a wonderland which lies in the heart of one of the Kenya’s parks (Ramsar site), only two hours leisurely drive on first class roads-from Nairobi, through some of the most exciting scenery to be seen anywhere in Africa.
The 165 km Nairobi-Nakuru road gives the visitors an unrivalled view of the majestic Great Rift Valley, winding through a series of lakes and forested uplands and all the way to the bustling market town of Nakuru. The views are equally impressive for the visitors who use a charter aircraft for the 25 minutes flight to the Lake Nakuru National Park airstrip situated at the southern side of the park at the Rhino Sanctuary headquarters-Naishi.
