Your Destination —

Ischia is a volcanic island distant roughly 30 kilometres from Naples. It is the largest of the Neapolitan islands and also known as 'the green isle'. Part of the archipelago of Phlegrean islands, in ancient times it was already visited by the Greeks, the Etruscans and the Phoenicians. Ischia’s distinctive Mediterranean character has attracted countless visitors over the centuries.

Ischia was a favourite among intellectuals and both Truman Capote and Ibsen are known to have stayed on the island. British composer William Walton settled here during the last years of his life, in a sumptuous and elegant villa. The luxurious gardens of Walton’s villa are now open to the public and known as La Mortella Gardens. The gardens offer superb views of Ischia and include a museum dedicated to the composer. The La Mortella complex often hosts delightful music recitals.

One of the landmarks of the island is the medieval Aragonese Castle, visible from a great distance. The healing qualities of its thermal springs was known in ancient times but nowadays it has led to the creation of fantastic thermal parks along the coast - havens of peace and tranquillity.

The family-run Sorriso Thermae Resort is set in an elevated position above the Bay of Citara and offers an array of fabulous leisure facilities including warm thermal water pools and a well-equipped Spa. The rooms are comfortably furnished, some having sea view, and can be located either in the main building or in one of the annexes.

The restaurant has fabulous views out to sea and serves a selection of local, Italian and international dishes and also holds an excellent wine list.

At the Sorriso Thermae Resort & SPA, whatever the time of day, you will find just the right spot for a refreshing drink, whether it be the Pool Bar so as to not disturb your relaxation beside the swimming pool, the American Blue Bar inside the hotel, for before and after dinner or the piano bar at the Oasis for lovers of evening entertainment. Particular attention is dedicated to the cuisine, which features local and international gastronomic specialities and a rich vegetable buffet at both lunch and dinner, often using products from the family’s vegetable garden.

The hotel has a spa and sauna area where you can indulge yourself with five pools with hydromassage jets - three of which are fed by thermal spring water and two of which are covered - along with aromatherapy showers and more facilities.

Meet & Greet —

If you are driving to the airport in the UK, and book our package including flights, you may wish to add our Meet and Greet service. Take the hassle out of airport parking and have an official representative take your car on arrival, and it will be waiting for you on your return.

This can be added at the next stage of booking process where available.

Your Contract —

The flight inclusive offer(s) shown on this page are ATOL Protected by the Civil Aviation Authority. Voyage Privé is acting as agent for Inghams with ATOL number 0025 and your contract is with that company.

Travel Documents —

You will receive an email confirming your booking within the next 48 hours.

Please check all details on this confirmation are correct. If there are any discrepancies, please notify us as soon as possible.

The airline is ticketless and therefore, you will not receive any hard copy documents. You will however, receive an email from us detailing your flight information and reference number to enable you to manage your booking online via the airline website.

You will also receive an accommodation voucher for presentation at the hotel reception at point of check-in.

If you have booked transfers, Meet & Greet, car hire or airport lounges, you will receive a separate voucher for each of these services. Please note that transfer vouchers are sent directly from the transfer supplier.

Please do make sure that you either add Voyage Privé to your Safe Senders list or check your Junk mail regularly for your travel documents.

We will send all documents out as early as possible (subject to full payment being received) but you should receive all your documentation at least 10 days prior to departure.
