The Villa has a rich history. Originally built as a private residence for General Avitabile, head of a noble Neapolitan family, latterly, it has been transformed into a modern training centre for hospitality and the culinary arts. Campus Principe Di Napoli now welcomes students and tourists from all over the world to learn from top professionals and enjoy a magical experience, fully immersed in the local culture. The facilities are state-of-the-art, with fully equipped rooms and classrooms, modern kitchens and a range of tastefully renovated on-site accommodation.

The Amalfi Coast is easily accessible, approximately 20 kilometres from the campus. Visit Amalfitani treasures, such as Praiano, Amalfi and Ravello.
Cooking Classes at Campus Principe di Napoli:
Learn the tricks and secrets of preparing fine Amalfi and Italian cuisine in a hands-on approach as taught by an expert during a one-hour private cooking class. The best part, of course, is tasting the finished product!
Guests may book your cooking experience upon arrival. Choose a different class every day - alternatively, guests can alternate action and relaxation!
The surrounding area which offers a myriad of amazing possibilities, such as visiting local Fior di Latte cheese producers, enjoying private tastings at the local wineries, undertaking hikes in the challenging, breathtaking terrain of the area, or visiting Amalfi, Positano, Ravello and more!

- Sommelier Master Class: Discover local award-winning wines.
- Discover the territory: Visits to Caseificio Ruocco to experience and learn how to make local Fio di Latte Cheese. Assisting in the cheese production, before tasting the varieties.
- Traditional Neopolitan Cuisine: Get stuck in, preparing the most representative local dishes using exclusively local products, such as Fior di Latte di Agerola or Pomodorini del Vesuvio.
- Lunch will follow, where you may enjoy what you had prepared during the class (beverages are not included).
- Pizza experience : Learn the secrets in the production of Vascuotto, Agerola's renowned bread, from a master baker, as well as real pizza. Enjoy your pizza for dinner (beverages excluded).
- Pastry lesson: Learn how to make traditional Neapolitan cakes, including Caprese al Limone and Caprese al Cioccolato.
- Visit local award-winning winery, Marisa Cuomo, and enjoy a wine tasting.
- Fresh Pasta Class: learn how to make fresh tagliatelle and ravioli.
Further Details:
- All classes can be held in Italian and English.
- Minimum number of participants : 2 people. Maximum number of participants: 16. In the case of larger groups, two kitchens will be used.
- For outside visits, the maximum number of participants: 20 people.
- According to the class in question and the number of participants, lessons may last between 45 minutes and 2 hours.
- Classes may be held in the morning from 9-11AM or in the afternoon from 5-7 PM.
- The campus will provide all necessary equipment required for the classes.
- Should you decide to enjoy the Sentiero degli Dei (optional excursion on the Path of the Gods hiking trail), please bring the appropriate comfortable attire and footwear.
- The property is fully accessible to disabled guests.
