Your Hotel

The Station is the culmination of a lifetime's dream by Jenny Gilbert, who acquired the property which her and her family team have transformed into a welcoming oasis just below the cloud line of the Morne Seychellois National Park.  It has taken years of painstaking renovation, extension, recycling and renewal to achieve a unique one-stop destination with every effort taken to embrace local labour and materials.

The Station is a landmark building in Seychelles and an exemplary model of reducing, recycling and reusing. Energy consumption is kept to minimum levels with the optimization of natural ventilation, thus reducing the need for air-conditioning, and use electronic equipment at minimal levels in order to reduce the impact on the environment of this small and delicate island. Water is heated with solar energy.

Each Room takes on the character of one of the seven Virtues (Abundance, Grace, Humility, Gratitude, Integrity, Acceptance and Balance) to provide you with a sensorial experience using that Virtue’s colour, chakra, crystal, scent and flower.

All rooms all draw on the timeless, island charm of a bygone French-colonial era and enjoying glimpses of the Indian Ocean and the Inner Islands of Seychelles.

Rooms are ideally located around the pool, with individual access to the relaxation area equipped with comfortable day beds and couches and facing the Pavilion where many of the conscious-living, art and culture activities are hosted.
 
The rooms, as all private spaces in the Centre, are  naturally ventilated in strict accordance with the essential principles of  oxygenating the body with fresh air, a fundamental requirement to keep you  healthy during your stay. The cool, clean mountain breeze and traditionally engineered fans ensure cross-ventilation and optimum circulation. 

To  contain the effect of electromagnetic emissions, interfering with the natural flow of energy, we choose to keep electronic equipment at minimal levels.

The Station Whole-Food Café
The Station Café is the place to be when you want to soak up the calming atmosphere and panoramic views of the inner islands. A balanced diet at The Station Café is one that follows conscious principles of well-being without disregarding the joy for your palate and allowing heart nurturing indulgent options.

The Station organic gardens produce as much fresh fruit and veg as possible. It is part of an on-going commitment to using only the freshest, finest, chemical-free food. In order to showcase the real flavour of the island’s fresh ingredients they use only the finest cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil and coconut oil, butter, butter ghee and sesame to produce food that is naturally appetizing and enhanced only by the subtle use of local herbs and spices.  You will feel during your digestion and will be experienced in an increased sense of wellbeing and energy.

Facilities at The Station Retreat include the Spa, natural health & gift shop, homeopathic apothecary, yoga and reiki workshops.

Your Journey

Flights: The flights included are with either a scheduled or no-frills airline and are subject to live availability and prices can change. You can choose your preferred departure times during the booking process. Please select your flight options carefully as departure and arrival airports may differ.

Transfers: Return private transfers are included for members booking a flight inclusive package. Transfer time is approximately 20 minutes.

Meet & Greet

If you are driving to the airport in the UK, and book our package including flights, you may wish to add our 'Meet and Greet' service. Take the hassle out of airport parking and have an official representative take your car on arrival, and it will be waiting for you on your return.

This can be added at the next stage of booking process where available.

ATOL Protected

If you book a package which includes flights, your contract will be with Voyage Privé. The air holiday package(s) shown are ATOL protected by the Civil Aviation Authority. Our ATOL number is 10170.

If you book a package which does not include flights, then ATOL protection does not apply. Your contract will be with the provider of the accommodation and not Voyage Privé. Voyage Privé acts only as agent for the accommodation provider.

Travel Documents

Flight Inclusive Offers -

You will receive an email confirming your booking within the next 48 hours.

Please check all details on this confirmation are correct.  If there are any discrepancies, please notify us as soon as possible.

The airline is ticketless and therefore, you will not receive any hard copy documents.  You will however, receive an email from us detailing your flight information and reference number to enable you to manage your booking online via the airline website.

You will also receive an accommodation voucher for presentation at the hotel reception at point of check-in.

If you have booked transfers, 'Meet & Greet', car hire or airport lounges, you will receive a separate voucher for each of these services.  Please note that transfer vouchers are sent directly from the transfer supplier.

Please do make sure that you either add Voyage Privé to your ‘Safe Senders’ list or check your ‘Junk mail’ regularly for your travel documents.

We will send all documents out as early as possible (subject to full payment being received) but you should receive all your documentation at least 10 days prior to departure.
