Your 9-Night Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Delhi 
Arrival to Delhi’s Airport. Assistance and transfer to the hotel. Take the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at your hotel.

Day 2: Delhi 
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to visit Old Delhi. You will see the Red Fort, the Jama Masjid, one of the biggest mosque in the world, Chandni Chowk and the heart of the old district, the Raj Ghat the mausolea of the Mahatma Gandhi. Visit of New Delhi: Discover the Qutub Minar, an extraordinary minaret built in 1199, the largest minaret in the world (72.55 m). Night at the hotel.

Day 3:  Delhi - Mandawa 
Breakfast at the hotel. Road to Mandawa. Arrive at the hotel in Mandawa, a small feudal principality. Mandawa lived a period of great pomp between the mid-eighteenth and the beginning of the twentieth century. Today, surrounded by sand dunes, the small town of Mandawa still contains havelis that are quite extraordinary. Their walls are decorated with frescoes with various decorative motifs: religious scenes, secular or even courteous, illustrations of stories or legends, portraits. Arrival at the hotel. Visit Mandawa with discovery of temples and havelis, dwellings of maharajahs and merchants with their galleries festooned with cupolas and paintings full of colours. Overnight at your hotel.
Day 4:  Mandawa - Jodhpur
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for Jodhpur. Arrival at the hotel in Jodhpur. In the afternoon, visit of Jodhpur, also called "the blue city" because of the coating of its houses. Visit the magnificent Mehrangarh Fort, named after its current owner, the Jodhpur maharajah. Built on top of a hill overlooking the city, it opens with a succession of seven monumental gates. You can discover many courtyards, surrounded by palaces with carved facades. Many rooms contain collections of miniatures, the Takhat Mahal Hall is entirely decorated with mirrors and paintings, with colourful glass balls hanging from the ceiling and the "Jankhi Mahal" contains an astonishing collection of royal cradles. Visit Jaswant Thada, the royal mausoleum in white marble of Maharajah Singh II, built in 1899. Night at the hotel.

Day 5: Jodhpur - Jaipur
Road to Jaipur, capital of Rajasthan. Jaipur was built in the 16th century by the Maharaja Jaisingh Ji according to the ideal plan exposed in the Hindu Arthashasthra for which the city must be in the image of the cosmos and reflect, in the distribution of the inhabitants, the social order of the varnas and castes. Thus, the city was drawn in a square, surrounded by walls pierced with 9 doors, and divided into 9 quarters each of which had a specific function. Arrival and installation at the hotel in Jaipur. Free time in the market or for rest. Night at the hotel.
Day 6: Jaipur  
Breakfast at the hotel. Discovery of Jaipur. Stop in front of the wind palace "Hawa Mahal", with a Baroque facade, architecture both fanciful and functional that allowed the women of the court to contemplate the spectacle of the street away from prying eyes. Continue with an excursion to Amber Fort, residence of Maharajahs and always ready for war. Visit the Palace with its rooms set with mirrors and the old harem, a real labyrinth.

Opportunity to attend Puja at Kali Temple. Puja is the time of prayers according to Hindu rites. Visit the astronomical observatory "Jantar Mantar", the witness of the passion of Maharaja Jaisingh Ii for astronomy. He built several observatories including that of Jaipur (1728-33). These monumental instruments make it possible to read the latitudes, longitudes and distances between the celestial bodies, the hour corresponding to the meridian of Jaipur. Rickshaw (rickshaw) ride through the old city. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 7: Jaipur - Fatehpur Sikri - Agra
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Agra. En route stop at Fatehpur Sikri, former capital of the time of the Mughal Emperor Akbar. Resulting from the synthesis of various styles, Indo-Muslim and Hindu, this is one of the most spectacular sites. Visit the Great Mosque, with the tomb of Sheikh Salim Chishti, The Jewel House also named Diwan-I-Khas (Hall of Audiences) containing the pillar of Akbar. Continue for Agra. Arrival at the hotel. Night at the hotel.

Day 8: Agra 
Breakfast at the hotel.  Visit the famous Taj Mahal (Closed on Every Friday), this moving Mughal Mausoleum that is the tourist emblem of India. Then visit Agra Fort. Overnight in hotel.

Day 9: Agra - Delhi
Breakfast at the hotel.Departure to Delhi (204 Kms +- 4h30). Arrival in Delhi and check in at the hotel. End of the day free for leisure, rest or shopping. Night at the hotel.

Day 10: Depart

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport to catch your return flight.

Day 5: Jodhpur - Udaipur
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning reach Udaipur, with a stop towards Ranakpur to visit the Jain temples. (Open from 12.00 to 16.00 - The guide will not be able to enter the temples, but an audio guide will be available to customers). The Ranakpur temples, dating back to the 15th century, are recognised worldwide for their beautiful and complex architecture. They are one of the five great Jain pilgrimages. They are located about 95 km north of Udaipur. Lunch in a local restaurant. Continue to Udaipur and check-in the hotel upon arrival. Udaipur is the historical capital of the kingdom of Mewar Rajputan. Mewar province became part of Rajasthan after India's independence. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 6: Udaipur
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning visit of Udaipur - City Palace, Sahelion Ki Bari (Garden of Bridesmaids) and Jagdish Temple. The City Palace is a complex of numerous palaces built in 1559 to be the main palace of the Rajput Sisodia dynasty. It is located on top of a hill on the eastern shore of Lake Pichola. Its architecture is a mix of Rajput and Mughal styles. It offers a magnificent view of the lake and its islands, as well as the Lake Palace. The Sahelion ki bari is a garden with fountains, kiosks, a lotus pond and marble elephants. Its name means garden of virgins. The Jagdish temple dates back to 1651 and is dedicated to Vishnu, the conservator of the universe. It is considered the largest temple in the city. It features sculpted pillars, decorated ceilings and painted walls and rooms, and the arrow (Shikhar) measures 24 m high main temple, and is richly decorated. Here a (non-private) boat ride to Lake Pichola awaits you, depending on the water level. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 7: Udaipur - Jaipur
Breakfast at the hotel and continue to Jaipur, or the pink city, color that symbolizes hospitality. You will be in the capital of Rajasthan, surrounded by a huge crenellated wall that contains the bustling life of the city, with its bazaars full of a thousand activities and its sumptuous temples.Jaipur was built in the 16th century by the Maharaja Jaisingh Ji according to the ideal plan exposed in the Hindu Arthashasthra, where it is read that the city must be the image of the cosmos and reflect, in the distribution of the inhabitants, the social order of the varnas and castes. Workers, 20,000 in all, were recruited across India and Central Asia. The main architect would have been Isa Khan, from Shiraz (Iran).European experts also participated: Austin from Bordeaux and Verono from Venice participated in the decoration. Day 4: Mandawa - Bikaner
Breakfast at the hotel and departure for Bikaner. Arrival and check in at the hotel.Tour of the city of Bikaner during which you will visit the Fort of Junnagarth, a fortress built in the fifteenth century like a real eagle's nest, which is accessed by a long ramp and several doors. The fort contains various palaces, temples and museums.It is a maze of corridors, stairs and courtyards that reveal beautiful carved facades.Excursion by Tuk Tuk to the picturesque Bazaar, then stroll on the Heritage Walk in the old city to explore its narrow streets and take the opportunity to visit some old havelis. Return to the hotel and overnight.

Day 5: Bikaner - Jaisalmer
Breakfast and departure for Jaisalmer, the perfect example of a Rajpoute fortified city that stands in the desert. This sumptuous city located on the outskirts of the Thar desert once controlled the opium trade between India and Pakistan. Arrival at the hotel and overnight.

Day 6: Jaisalmer
After breakfast,you will visit this beautiful city of yellow sandstone built on a hill on the edge of the Thar desert. In particular: - Maharawal Palace with many rooms decorated with mosaics and paintings- The Haveli, ancient palaces-palaces with incredibly beaten balconies, built in the eighteenth century by wealthy merchants- The Jain temple- The bazaar-Evening in the heart of the dunes of the Thar desert- Camel ride.Return and overnight at the hotel.

Day 7: Jaislamer - Jodhpur
Breakfast at the hotel and departure for Jodhpur. Arrival and installation at the hotel in Jodhpur. In the afternoon: visit of Jodhpur, also called "the blue city" because of the lining of its houses.A city set at the foot of a fortress. Jodhpur appears as a comforting oasis for the traveler who has just crossed the Thar desert. The historic center is surrounded by a wall with seven gates, which was erected around the mid-16th century on a perimeter of almost 10 km, which also protects the sand.Visit the magnificent Mehrangarh Fort, named after its current owner, Jodhpur Maharajah. Built on the top of a hill overlooking the city, it opens with a succession of seven monumental gates. On one of the Iohapols, iron gates, you will discover the handprints of the widows of Maharadjah Man Singh,who immolated himself on his funeral pyre in 1843. Visit Jaswant Thada, the royal white marble mausoleum of Maharajah Singh II, built in 1899. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 8: Jodhpur - Udaipur

Derived from the synthesis of various styles, Indo-Muslim and Hindu,this is one of the most spectacular sites. Visit of: The Great Mosque, with the tomb of Sheikh Salim Chishti, The Jewel House also called Diwan-I-Khas (Audience hall) containing the Akbar pillar. Continuation to Agra. The show live is in hindi and urdu, and its interpretation is available in English, French, Spanish, Italian and German via headphones.

Entry Requirements 

You must ensure you have a valid passport to travel on. 

You’ll need to get a visa before travelling to India. You can find further information about how to apply on the Indian High Commission website.

India’s Bureau of Immigration has announced that with immediate effect, foreign nationals who arrive at an Indian port holding non-machine readable passports will be denied entry. 

To transit through India you will need a transit visa. You can find more information on the Indian Immigration Bureau website.

All applicants of Pakistani origin who hold dual British-Pakistan nationality must apply for an Indian visa on their Pakistan passport. Those who have either renounced Pakistani nationality or cancelled their Pakistani passport would need to submit documentary proof of this.

If vaccinations or other preventive measures are required, you will need to visit your health professional at least 8 weeks before your trip.


You can take medicines into India as long as you carry the prescription with you. Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic substances are prohibited. Mosquito-borne diseases like Dengue Fever occur all year round. There’s been an increase in the number of cases of dengue fever, including in New Delhi.


UK health authorities have classified India as having a risk of Zika virus transmission. For information and advice about the risks associated with Zika virus, visit the National Travel Health Network and Centre website.


Cases of Chikungunya Virus have been confirmed in India, including in New Delhi. You should take steps to avoid being bitten by mosquitoes.
