You'll stay less than 1km from the beach and the town centre near Kos Town. Kos Town, part of the Ancient Town, is a particular hotspot for excavation sites. The Ancient Agora is one such site where columns, mosaics and other ancient relics have been found from various periods throughout history, marking an area where houses and temples used to sit. The impressive Roman Odeon is also a sight to behold and was only discovered last century.
You can also take a walk across the Phoinikon (palm trees) bridge that used to connect the mainland to the medieval Nerantzia Castle, or The Castle of the Knights of Saint Jon, which dates back to the 1300s.
