Day 1: Welcome to Zeus Kos Beach

Arrive in Kos and settle into the 5-star Zeus Kos Beach, where you’ll stay on an all-inclusive basis. Set directly on the coast, the resort offers a peaceful setting for your first taste of island life, with the Aegean Sea on your doorstep. Unpack and take some time to relax before enjoying your first swim in the turquoise waters or settling beside one of the outdoor pools.

Depending on your arrival time, enjoy lunch or a refreshing drink before collecting your rental car, which is included with your stay. In the evening, savour a Mediterranean buffet featuring local specialities, fresh fish, Greek mezze and sweet treats, followed by a stroll along the seafront or a drink as the sun sets over the Aegean.

Day 2: Discovering Kos Town and the island by car

Set off by car to discover Kos Town, the island’s lively capital, where ancient history, Ottoman heritage and a relaxed Mediterranean atmosphere come together. Wander through the historic centre, browse small artisan shops and cafés, then visit the famous Plane Tree of Hippocrates and the ancient ruins scattered throughout the city.

Continue towards the harbour to admire the Castle of the Knights, built by the Hospitallers, before stopping for lunch at a local taverna overlooking the water. In the afternoon, head north towards Tigaki or Marmari, where long stretches of golden sand and clear, shallow waters make the perfect setting for an afternoon swim. Return to the hotel in time for an all-inclusive dinner and a relaxed evening.

Day 3: Cruising to three islands – Included excursion

Today, set sail on one of the highlights of your stay, discovering three beautiful islands scattered across the Dodecanese. Board your boat and spend the day surrounded by crystal-clear waters, secluded beaches and spectacular island scenery.

First, stop at Pserimos, a small and unspoilt island known for its white-sand beach and laid-back atmosphere. Enjoy time to swim, relax or stroll along the waterfront before continuing to Plati, an uninhabited island surrounded by exceptionally clear turquoise waters. After a refreshing swim, continue to Kalymnos, famous for its long tradition of sponge fishing. Explore the picturesque harbour, browse local shops or settle down for lunch in a traditional taverna before sailing back to Kos in the late afternoon.

Day 4: Wine tasting at Skevofilax Winery – Included experience

Today, drive towards Kefalos in the southwest of the island for a taste of Kos’s local wine culture. Set among volcanic vineyards, Skevofilax Winery offers an intimate introduction to the island’s winemaking traditions, hosted by a passionate local family. Taste a selection of six local wines, from crisp and mineral Assyrtiko to aromatic Malagouzia, elegant rosé and full-bodied reds, alongside more unusual varieties such as orange wine and traditional retsina.

Your tasting is accompanied by a generous platter of Greek specialities, including cheeses, cured meats, fresh vegetables, homemade preserves and breadsticks. On your way back, stop at Kamari or Agios Stefanos for a swim, with the ruins of a Byzantine basilica overlooking the sea and the islet of Kastri beyond. Return to Zeus Kos Beach in the late afternoon for some time to relax before dinner.

Day 5: Enjoying a day at leisure

Take a break from sightseeing today and enjoy Kos at your own pace. Spend the morning beside the pool or on the beach, perhaps trying your hand at one of the watersports available at the resort. With long sandy beaches and clear, shallow waters, Kos is made for leisurely days by the sea.

If you feel like exploring, take your car towards the coast and discover Paradise Beach or Exotic Beach, both known for their beautiful turquoise waters. Stop for lunch at a seaside taverna before continuing towards the salt lakes in the north of the island. Depending on the season, you may spot flamingos gathering here, with views stretching towards the Turkish coast in the distance. Return to the hotel for a Mediterranean dinner and a relaxed evening.

Day 6: Exploring traditional villages and watching the sunset in Zia

Head inland today to discover a quieter, more traditional side of Kos. Drive through olive groves and rolling hills towards the island’s charming mountain villages, where shaded squares, family-run tavernas and whitewashed churches offer a glimpse into local life. Stop in Pyli to see the remains of its Byzantine castle, then continue to Asfendiou, a collection of traditional settlements tucked into the slopes of Mount Dikaios.

In the afternoon, make your way up to Zia, one of the island’s most picturesque villages. Browse its small artisan shops, sample local honey and herbs or stop for a traditional Greek coffee while taking in sweeping views across Kos, the surrounding islands and the Turkish coast. Stay until sunset, when the changing colours over the Aegean create one of the island’s most memorable views, before returning to Zeus Kos Beach for your final all-inclusive dinner.

Day 7: One last taste of Kos

Make the most of your final morning in Kos with time to swim, relax by the pool or take one last stroll along the seafront. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast overlooking the Aegean before returning to your room to pack.

Depending on your departure time, savour a final Greek lunch on the terrace or pick up a few souvenirs, perhaps some local olive oil, Kos wine, aromatic spices or handmade ceramics. Return your rental car according to the arrangements with your rental company before making your way to Kos Airport for your flight home.

As your stay comes to an end, take with you memories of beautiful beaches, sun-drenched villages, fresh Greek flavours and days spent exploring the Aegean at your own pace.
