You may choose to extend your trip by adding a 7-night Nile River Cruise. During your cruise, you will stay in a Deluxe Nile River View Cabin on a Full Board Dining Basis (breakfast, lunch and evening meal served on board - excludes drinks).
Our members have the opportunity to upgrade to All Inclusive (breakfast, lunch and evening meal with a selection of snacks and drinks) at the next stage of the booking process for an additional fee.
Please Note: Guests staying during high season (23rd December 2019 - 5th January 2020 OR 13th April 2020 - 19th April 2020) will have an additional fee added to the cost of their booking, payable for a high season supplement. Your Cruise Itinerary —
When opting to add the additional cruise, following your stay at the LABRANDA Royal Makadi 5*, you will enjoy a 7-night stay on one of the three boats listed below.
Please Note: The sequence and the timing of the below itinerary might change due to navigation circumstances but all included sights will be provided in all cases.
After being met by your MeetingPoint rep at the hotel, take a transfer to the ship and embark on the cruise ship in Luxor. Overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2: Luxor (Nile Cruise)
Take an early morning visit to the East Bank, the Karnak temple and the Luxor Temple. Enjoy lunch on the cruise. At noon, spend time sailing to Edfu. Dinner and overnight stay on board in Edfu.
Enjoy early sailing at 9 am to Kom Ombo and visit Sobek Temple around 4 pm. Afterwards, sail to Aswan. After your arrival around 9 pm, enjoy dinner and an overnight stay on board in Aswan.
Day 4: Nile Cruise
Enjoy a early morning start by visiting Aswan, the High Dam and the Philea temple. Take an afternoon at leisure, giving you the chance to explore Aswan or try an (optional) excursion to the Nubian village. Overnight stay on board in Aswan.
Enjoy an early morning (optional) visit to the famous temple of Abu Simbel in the south of Aswan, or just spend a relaxed morning on the sun deck. Enjoy sailing at 2 pm back north to Edfu and arrive around 9 pm for an overnight stay on board in Edfu.
Day 6: Nile Cruise
In the morning, sail to Esna on a visit that will take approx 10 hours. Visit the Temple of Khnum, and take time to relax and enjoy the cruise as you sail downstream to Luxor. After arrival at 2.30 pm, enjoy the possibility to join an (optional) city tour of Luxor. Overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Enjoy a morning excursion to the West Bank including the Valley of the Kings, Hatschpust temple and the Colossi of Memnon. Take an evening visit to the sound and light show at Karnak temple (optional), and enjoy dinner and an overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 8: Nile Cruise
After breakfast on the cruise, transfer to the airport to for your return flight.

The flights included are with either a scheduled or no-frills airline and are subject to live availability and prices can change. You can choose your preferred departure times during the booking process. Please select your flight options carefully as departure and arrival airports may differ.
Transfers: When staying only in Hurghada, shared transfers are included for guests booking flight-inclusive offers. When opting to also add the cruise, shared airport and inter-hotel transfers will be included for flight-inclusive bookings.
