Punta Cana is famous the world over for its gorgeous beaches and luxurious hotels, but for visitors who want to see more of the Dominican Republic than sun, sea and sand, head inland to the town of Higüey. This is the capital of the province and where the basilica in honour of Our Lady of Altagracia, patroness of the Dominican people, is located. Also close to Punta Cana is Manatí Park - a delightful park which is 81 square miles of tropical birds, reptiles and other animals.
In Punta Cana itself, the Indigenous Eyes Ecological Park has more than 500 species of exotic plants on trails that snake along 11 natural lagoons. It is open to the public from 08:00 to 16:00 and guided tours are offered.

Start your day with a scenic drive to Bayahibe beach where you'll embark on, a wonderful catamaran or on the speedboats to start your adventure Then you ́ll head for wonderful Saona Island to enjoy lunch under palm trees, right on the beach. You may swim, play volleyball, and learn how to dance merengue or simply enjoy some leisure time while getting tanned. Definitely the best day of your vacation! For your return, and back on the vessel, you ́ll have the opportunity to gaze at incredible vistas deserving to be taken in for everlasting memories... and of course, there ́s also your camera to keep those images handy to share with everyone back home.
Immerse yourself into and explore the first city of the New World, Santo Domingo, on this full-day historic and cultural experience! Follow the footsteps of the discoverers on a day trip filled with history. Visit the main sites of Santo Domingo's Colonial zone like Colon's (Christopher Columbus’) Old House or Las Casas Reales, formerly used as the Parliament. You will also visit historic sites such as the first cathedral in America and the Columbus Lighthouse. Walk on the oldest cobblestone street of the continent, "Calle de las Damas", and many other interesting locations of Santo Domingo's modern area. Continuing with the journey, visit the amazing natural monument, Los Tres Ojos, the name given to a 50-foot open-air limestone cave located in the Mirador del Este Park, where you will find different evidence of pre-Columbian cultures that lived in the caves. This tour is a must for people who love history, culture and natural wonders.
Head through the scenic Dominican countryside to Anumaya where your thrilling Zipline Canopy Adventure begins. On arrival, you will be briefed by trained professionals on your zip line equipment and journey. Once you are ready, be prepared to swing through the trees from one platform to the next, and over 8 lines ranging from 98 yards in length to 765 yards for a total of 1.3 miles. There are also 12 wooden platforms in the treetops and a 40-foot tower which gives you the perfect viewing point above the jungle canopy and across the Dominican skyline for the perfect pictures. After your tour is over and you regain your breath, enjoy fresh fruits and spend time to do some souvenir shopping, before returning to your Punta Cana hotel

If you are travelling to the USA or choose a flight which routes via the USA, and are travelling under the Visa Waiver Programme (VWP), you must obtain an ESTA (Electronic System for Travel Authorisation) prior to departure. Passengers who have not received travel authorisation via ESTA prior to travel will be denied boarding. Please note that if you are denied from boarding, or are not allowed into the US for any reason, you will still be subject to our cancellation charges in accordance with our terms and conditions.
