9-Night Tour
Welcome to Costa Rica! Upon arrival, meet your English speaking representative at the airport, and then transfer to your hotel located in downtown San José. The rest of the day is yours to explore the city at your own leisure. Overnight in San José.
Day 2: San Jose - Tortuguero (4 hour drive en-route and 1 hour 30 minutes on boat)
Today starts with a shared transfer to Tortuguero Pier. As you arrive into the city of Guápiles, enjoy an included breakfast at a local restaurant, before taking the boat to Tortuguero National Park. Travel through the winding canals through the heart of the rainforest. Upon arrival, you will check into the lodge and take lunch. Following this, take a boat to the small Caribbean village of Tortuguero for a visit. In the afternoon you are free to enjoy the facilities of the lodge and to walk around the beautiful area. Between July and October, you can join a night excursion to observe nesting green turtles, baulas or loras. Dinner and overnight accommodation at the lodge.
Day 3: Tortuguero - Sarapiqui (1 hour 30 minutes on boat and 4 hour drive en-route)
Take an early morning boat trip to visit the canals of Tortuguero Park - a unique and exciting way to discover this imposing panorama (the entrance to the national park is not included and costs $15.00 per person). After breakfast back at the lodge, you will return to Guápiles by boat and enjoy lunch in a local restaurant.
Depart from this local restaurant to the car rental agency (near the restaurant) where the agent of the rental car company will deliver the car. Continue to the Sarapiquí area, which has one of the largest concentrations of bird species in Costa Rica. This region is also famous for its adventure activities such as rapids, horseback riding and ziplines, as well as for its cultural and natural activities. Check in then enjoy dinner and overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel, the morning is free to enjoy the hotel or take an additional excursion in the area.

You will then continue to the north of the country to reach La Fortuna, a town at the foot of the Arenal Volcano. Overnight at your hotel in Arenal.
Day 5: Arenal
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before driving yourself to Mistico Park for an early morning trip to visit its hanging bridges. You will walk for at least 2 hours and discover more than five suspension bridges accompanied by an English-speaking guide. As you are immersed in the nature of Costa Rica, keep an eye out for the different animals that populate this forest.
The rest of the day is yours at leisure in the lodge or taking part in an optional excursion in the region.

Day 6: Arenal – Tenorio (2h30 drive)
Have breakfast at the hotel. You will then continue to the Tenorio Volcano area, famous for the Rio Celeste River. The legend says that after God painted the sky, he washed the brush in this river and thus took its color. Here you will have free time at your own leisure.

- Tubing (down a river on a big inflatable tube)

Here, it is one of the largest natural biological reserves in the middle of the cloud forest. It protects the world's unique amphibians, more than 400 species of birds, including the resplendent mythical Quetzal, many species of butterflies and 2500 varieties of plants. Spend 2 nights in Monteverde at your hotel.
Day 8: Monteverde
After breakfast at your hotel, depart for Selvatura Park where you will enjoy a free day to explore and head out on a host of optional excursions.

Day 10: Depart from San José
Have your last breakfast in Costa Rica before transfering to Juan Santamaría International Airport for your departure flight.
