Your Destinations

Rio de Janeiro

Rio de Janeiro is world renowned for its breathtaking landscapes and location, nestled between lush, green mountains and crystal clear seas. Rio is one of the most prominent cultural and economical cities in Brazil and features some of country’s most famous attractions such as Pão de Açúcar (Sugarloaf Mountain), Corcovado, and the iconic beaches of Copacabana and Ipanema. The city is full of energy and rhythm, and the locals of Rio, ‘Cariocas’, are known for their care free spirit and charm. Whether you are looking to experience the music and rhythms, relax in a naturally stunning environment, or enjoy all the luxuries of a cosmopolitan city, Rio de Janeiro has it all!

Igauzu Falls

Iguazu Falls, located on the border of the State of Parana, is one of the most famous attractions throughout Brazil. These massive waterfalls are divided between Argentina and Brazil and offer very different views and experiences, depending on which side they are seen. In the "Land of the Falls", visitors can revel in the splendor of the natural forests, rivers and lakes, as well as the world’s largest hydroelectric, the Itaipu Dam.

Salvador was founded in 1549 by São Salvador da Bahia de Todos os Santos, who reigned throughout Brazil for over two centuries. Salvador was the showcase of the Portuguese Colony and second largest city after Lisbon during this time. Today, it is the fourth largest city with over 2,000,000 inhabitants. Salvador is a magical city and the most African of all Brazilian cities. It is an architectural treasure with its delirious splendor of baroque style, represented by churches, and even beautiful sobrados. The charm works at all times to add to the colourful culture and beat of Bahian music.

Day 2: Rio de Janeiro
Depart from the hotel after breakfast to visit the most famous landmarks of the city and see the natural beauty of Rio de Janeiro from up above. The first stop is at the Christ the Redeemer, located 2,300 ft above sea level. The way up is on a comfortable train that ascends the mountain where the statue of the Christ, known as the “wonder of Rio” was recently elected one of the 7 "New Wonders of the World". Afterwards, descend the mountain and stop for a delicious Brazilian Barbecue lunch. From there it’s time for another iconic symbol of Rio de Janeiro: the world famous ‘Pão de Açúcar’, (Sugar Loaf Mountain). Rising up from a small peninsula at the entrance of Guanabara Bay, the journey to the top is made in glass cable-cars which take passengers to the top of Urca Hill, which rises 215 meters above sea level and offers spectacular views of the entire bay and its surrounding islands. From Urca Hill, passengers can continue in a second cable-car to the top of Sugar Loaf, achieving a 360 degree view of the entire city. This tour is shared but guests have the option to do it on a private basis. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3: Rio de Janeiro
Following breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a full day of leisure in Rio before an overnight stay at your hotel.
Day 4: Rio de Janeiro

Nowadays, while strolling the streets downtown, it is possible to admire many architectural influences from different periods where historical and modern constructions tell together Rio’s history. This walking tour visits important sites for the history of Rio. Guests will enjoy the city as a real Carioca, using the metro as their transportation. By the end of the visit, in the charming and narrow downtown streets, enjoy a stop at the traditional Colombo Café for refreshments, before returning to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 5: Rio de Janeiro
Following breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a full day of leisure in Rio before an overnight stay at your hotel.

Day 6: Rio de Janeiro

Day 9: Iguazu Falls (Argentinian side)

By walking there, it is possible to explore and appreciate the details of its history and beauty. Start by visiting the Pelourinho - an area famous for its narrow winding streets and old buildings in pastel colours. It offers the best of colonial architecture throughout the Americas, and the exuberant São Francisco church with its baroque design, extravagant and gold leaf interior is a perfect example.
