Mayrhofen —
Set in Austria's stunning Zillertal Valley, Mayrhofen is an enduringly popular and well-established ski resort, known for its extensive, snow-sure ski area covering over 600kms of pistes. Whether you are a beginner, intermediate or advanced, Mayrhofen has something for everyone. The Vans Penken Snowpark, the second largest in Europe, is a mecca for adventurous freestyle skiers and snowboarders; with various jumps, rails and a 130m half-pipe, it's easy to see why the professionals flock here.
If you fancy something a little different to skiing one day, snowmobile rides, an ice rink, an indoor pool and a sauna can all be found in the resort. The large and lively resort centre offers excellent shopping and a great choice of restaurants, bars and clubs that really liven up in the evenings.
