Your Hotel —

The Island Lodge is a boutique hotel with only 12 luxurious rooms located along the Mekong Delta, Vietnam. Sitting on the shores of the river on Thoi Son Island, this eco-friendly address introduces guests to the beautiful natural surroundings. Ho Chi Minh City is 74km away, My Tho can be reached in 20 minutes, whilst Tan Son Nhat International Airport is a 2-hour drive. The hotel boasts wellness facilities as well as fine cuisine, a fusion of French and Vietnamese flavours and inspired by the two French owners. Upon arrival, a welcome cocktail will be offered (one per person and per stay).

Sleep

Interiors at The Island Lodge display a colonial flair, with typical bronze statues, bamboo walls and bright wood furniture present throughout. All 12 guest rooms at this exotic abode enjoy private terraces with gorgeous river or garden views, as well as natural bath products and local artworks. Each room is available with two single beds or with a double bed.

- Double or Twin River View (34 m² / max 4 people including 2 adults): This room features authentic Asian decor through the use of bamboo as decorative elements. It has a beautiful terrace overlooking the Mekong River.

- Double or Twin Room Garden View (36 m² / max 4 people including 2 adults): This room features a beautiful bathroom with a shower and a bathtub and a terrace facing the garden of the property.

Please note: the bed for the 3rd/4th guest sharing is likely to be a sofa bed or camp style bed.

Taste

True to the country of origin of the owners, the restaurant of the hotel - Le Comptoir de Marthe and Edouard - serves French cuisine with a Vietnamese touch. For a drink, head to one of the hotel's two bars: La Manufacture d'Opium and Le 10°19'44''. The former is an eclectic hotel lounge and the latter is an outdoor snug tropical bar.

Experience

An indulgent massage at the hotel pavilion, or a soothing moment in the outdoor swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna, may be the ideal way to start the day. Guests can rent a bicycle at the hotel, ride through charming Thoi Son village or explore small trails bordered by fruit trees, before enjoying an exciting boat ride on the Mekong River. Take advantage of an extra half day bike rental (per room, per stay).

By plane:
- Tan Son Nhat International Airport (Ho Chi Minh City) is 90km away.

Contract —

If you book a package which includes flights, your contract will be with Voyage Privé. The air holiday package(s) shown are ATOL protected by the Civil Aviation Authority. Our ATOL number is 10170.

If you book a package which does not include flights, then ATOL protection does not apply. Your contract will be with the provider of the accommodation and not Voyage Privé. Voyage Privé acts only as agent for the accommodation provider.

Travel documents —

You will receive an email confirming your booking within the next 48 hours. Please check all details on this confirmation are correct. If there are any discrepancies, please notify us as soon as possible. 

Accommodation Only:
You will also receive an accommodation voucher for presentation at the hotel reception at point of check-in.

Flight Inclusive Offers
The airline is ticket-less and therefore, you will not receive any hard copy documents. You will however, receive an email from us detailing your flight information and reference number to enable you to manage your booking online via the airline website. You will also receive an accommodation voucher for presentation at the hotel reception at point of check-in.

Please do make sure that you either add Voyage Privé to your Safe Senders list or check your Junk mail regularly for your travel documents. We will send all documents out as early as possible (subject to full payment being received) but you should receive all your documentation at least 10 days prior to departure.
