The attraction of a holiday to Vietnam is evident when you consider its unique cultural and historical heritage set in an unspoilt, diverse and engaging landscape. Whilst Vietnam is an extraordinary country to explore, an increasing number of tourists are going simply to relax; with over 3,000km of coastline, stunning white sand beaches and a number of deluxe 5-star resorts.
There has never been a better time to go on a Vietnam holiday than now, as the country with a fascinating past warmly embraces its future as a major player among international tourist destinations. When visiting Vietnam you will discover a country that offers something for every holidaymaker. From the pristine beaches of Phan Thiet to the bustling city life found in Ho-Chi-Minh City (Saigon), a Vietnam holiday offers something for everyone, making it a truly unequalled travel experience.
Often overlooked in favour of its better-known neighbours, landlocked Laos remains one of Southeast Asia’s most beguiling destinations. Caught in the middle of the two Indochina wars and long isolated from the rest of the world, the country retains a slow, rather old-fashioned charm, and its people – incredibly laidback and friendly.
The Mekong is a must for every visit to Laos, supplying fish for dinner, a stunning array of sunsets and a fascinating route to travel along- bring your camera as the views are breathtaking!
Cambodia has remained hidden from the outside world for much of the last century, but now emerging from years of isolation and becoming increasingly popular on the traveller's trail. The fascinating country offers a true taste of Southeast Asia before the arrival of tourism and modernisation. It has a diverse landscape from dusty hot cities and mountainous jungles to beautifully calm bays and pristine beaches.
At the turn of the millennium Siem Reap was a Cambodian provincial town with few facilities, minor surfaced roads and little in the way of nightlife. Now it is a major tourist hub due to its proximity to the world famous temples of Angkor (UNESCO World Heritage Site).
