Your Destinations —
Labelled as the nation's 'Mother Road' by John Steinbeck, you'll take in the best of America in bite-sized chunks. From small-town outback villages to gaudy glitz, retro Americana to cowboys and Indians, sizzling jazz riffs to country and western twangs and spectacular canyons to white sandy beaches, Route 66 covers it all.
You'll kick-start your trip in the 'Windy City' of Chicago, where you'll spend two nights. Take in the city's vibrant arts scene, cutting edge restaurants and long sandy beaches, before you laze by Lake Michigan with an expanse of skyscrapers as your backdrop.
You'll then belt up and head for the beer, baseball, jazz and good-time vibes of St. Louis, stopping en-route for a night in Springfield. Afterwards, you'll drive into the vibrant red dust of Oklahoma, where you'll experience American cowboy culture and country and western life.
Head to the beautiful mountain city of Flagstaff for a two night stay in the alpine air, before departing for the bright lights of Vegas where you'll stop for three nights in the heart of Sin City. Take a visit to the spectacular Grand Canyon or soak up the casinos, mega-shows and drive-in chapels.
Your journey ends with two nights in LA, where you'll spend your days people-watching on Rodeo Drive, taking in the Hollywood Hills and power-walking on Venice Beach.
Your Itinerary —

2 nights in Chicago at the Doubletree Magnificent Mile.
Day 2 Chicago
During these two days, discover a splendid and atmospheric city set on the shores of Lake Michigan. Chicago is the American jewel for architecture with its collection of slender buildings. The Midwest capital is both cultural with beautiful museums, stimulating, and relaxing. Take a walk on the famous Magnificent Mile and discover the Navy Pier. For architecture lovers, we suggest an architectural cruise to navigate between the buildings. If you liked New York, you'll love Chicago!

Visa Waiver Programme —
If you are travelling to the USA or choose a flight option with a US layover, the US authorities have introduced a requirement for passengers travelling under the Visa Waiver Programme (VWP), to register for Electronic Travel Authority. Passengers who have not applied for and received travel authorisation via ESTA prior to travel may be denied boarding, experience delayed processing, or be denied admission at the US port of entry. However, neither possession of a visa, nor meeting the basic requirements for travelling visa-free on the VWP, guarantees admission to the United States. As with most countries, the final determination of admissibility is made by immigration officials at the port of entry. Please remember that issue of ESTA does not guarantee admissibility to the United States - it is only part of the travel approval process. All queries in relation to this requirement should be addressed via the US Embassy Consular department.
Please remember that if you are refused boarding or denied admission at the US port of entry, you will still be subject to our cancellation charges in accordance with the terms of our contract with you.
How do I apply for ESTA?
There is an online application form which is available now at https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov. Prior to travel, you will need to visit this website and fill in the on-line application (currently in English only).
