By Road
From the South:
1. Exit M6 at junction 36 and on the roundabout above filter left onto the A590 (Kendal).
2. Follow the dual carriageway to the roundabout (approx seven miles), take the first exit signposted B5284 Hawkshead Via Ferry.
3. Continue along the road for a few miles, through the village of Crook and past the golf club, then at the T-junction turn left and immediately right onto Longtail Hill.
4. At the bottom of the hill, at the T-junction, turn left onto the A592 (signposted NewbyBridge). Travel for one and a half miles and you will see Storrs Hall set back from the road on the right. The road bends sharply to the left at this point.
5. Please take care when making the right hand turn into the driveway.
From the North:
1. Follow the M6 Southwards to Junction 36 (signposted A590 Kendal).
2. Then follow the directions above starting at number 2.
By Rail
The nearest railway station is at Windermere, which is serviced by a connecting train from the mainline station of Oxenholme. Windermere Station is situated approximately 5 miles from Storrs Hall. Local taxis are available at both stations.
