Arrival at Colombo International Airport. You will be met by a designated chauffeur guide and escorted to your air conditioned vehicle and proceed to Kandy . (Approx Travel Time - 02 ½ to 03 Hours).

DAY 2 KANDY
After breakfast at hotel proceed to visit Peradeniya Royal Botanical Gardens.
(Approx Travel Time from Peradeniya to Kandy - 20 - 30 Min )
Visit the Royal Botanical Gardens, at Peradeniya, which is about 5.5 km before the city of Kandy and attracts over 2 million visitors annually, consisting of both locals as and tourists. It’s renowned for its collection of a variety of orchids and over 4000 species of plants, including of orchids, spices, medicinal plants and palm trees. The total area of the botanical garden is 147 acres (0.59 km2), at 460 meters above sea level, and with a 200-day annual rainfall.
On completion return to your hotel and the evening explore the Royal city of Kandy.
Temple of the Tooth Relic is a Buddhist temple in the City of Kandy. It is considered the foremost sacred place of worship in the Buddhist World. According to legend, the tooth was taken from the Buddha as he lay on his funeral pyre. It immediately became an object of great reverence and was enshrined in a series of nested jeweled reliquaries. On the outside, the temple buildings are not magnificent or elaborately decorated. While with red roofs, they cluster around Kandy Lake. In striking contrast to the plain exterior, the interiors of the temple buildings are richly carved and decorated with inlaid woods, ivory and lacquer. The relic of the tooth is kept in a two story inner shrine fronted by two large elephant tusks.
Cultural Dance Show - Be escorted to a performance of the traditional Kandyan dance, accompanied by tumultuous drumming. Dances include the cobra dance, mask dance, the Ginisila, showing power over fire. The entire frenetic and colorful spectacle climaxes with the amazing fire-walking act.
On completion, return to your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

No, the real joy of Kandy is the illusion that – at least in spirit – a great kingdom survives. Kandyans are always dressing up in their 30ft cummerbunds, and every night there’s a display of drummers in silver armour.
After Breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Kandy Railway station to catch your train to Nanu Oya.
Leave to Railway station, and board the train and leave for Nuwara Eliya. Enjoy the picturesque journey, the train snaking its way through the mountains through the tea country. The vehicle will follow you to Nanu Oya, the last station before Nuwara Eliya.
Proceed by the vehicle to Nuwara Eliya. Wander though the trails of British colonial era with buildings ranging from Georgian to Queen Anne, Golf course with 18 holes, the hill club of the English Tea Planters Stay overnight in Nuwara Eliya.On arrival at the Nanu Oya railway Station, you will be picked up by your chauffeur guide and proceed to your hotel in Yala where you will spend the rest of the day.
On completion,proceed to Nuwara Eliya for a sight seeing tour.
Nuwara Eliya is set in the heart of tea-country is a beautiful town where the British succeeded in creating a replica of the English countryside, with homes in styles from Georgian to Queen Anne. Well-kept lawns with hedges, an Anglican church, a famous golf course and beautiful parks give the place an air of nostalgia. Situated 6,200 feet above sea level, the air is cool and fresh – a serene retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city life.
Pony and Horse riding is available at the turf club of Nuwara Eliya to facilitate you with some sports and adventure.
On completion, Check in to your hotel in Nuwara Eliya and spend the rest of the day at leisure, enjoying the hotel amenities.

Ella is a small sleepy village positioned high in the mountains, on the southern edge of Sri Lanka's Hill Country. Most visitors happy to be there many days. But if you are willing to pass through out of town, you can find plenty of things to do to keep you occupied.
It's situated in the middle of beautiful countryside, with small vegetable plots in the valleys, tea plantations on the hill slopes and forests on the tops.
On completion, Check in to your hotel in Udawalawe and in the evening proceed on a Jeep Safari at Udawalawe National park.
Udawalawa, Located approximately 200 km south-east of Colombo city and is a major eco tourism destination in Sri Lanka. The 30,821 hectares dry zone game park has an annual rainfall of 1524 mm and an average temperat ure of 29.4°C. It is most famous for the many elephants that live there (about 400 in total).
During a visit, it is not unusual to see whole herds of adults and young elephants feeding or bathing and playing in the water! In addition to this main attraction, the park is home to many water buffalo, water monitor lizards, sambar deer, monkeys and the occasional leopard, as well as being an exciting location for bird enthusiasts.
On completion, return to your hotel and relax.

After breakfast, Check out from the hotel and Proceed to visit the colonial coastal town of Galle.

Galle is a coastal town where the Dutch presence is still visible. Galle was an ancient port (said to be the legendary Tarshish of the Bible), and our first international commerce and trade centre.
Today, Galle is the bustling provincial capital and administrative centre of the south. It is famous for its lovely Unawatuna Bay, where the sea is reef protected and therefore safe for swimming. The old Dutch “Star Fort” (a World Heritages Site) covering 36 hectares, the well-preserved Groote Kerk (Dutch Church), Dutch Government House, the New Oriental Hotel (built in 1684) old bell tower and a tide-based Sewage-System, also introduced by the Dutch. In Galle they still make the Dutch ‘pillow-lace’ and do fine ebony carving and gem polishing.
Thereafter continue to Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery.

Turtle Hatchery :‘The beaches of Kosgoda are the nesting grounds for five species of marine turtles. They are the Green turtle, the Leatherback, the Hawksbill the Loggerhead and the Olive Ridley. All 5 species have been recorded to nest along specific areas of Sri Lanka’s coast.
Studies have indicated that beaches can be categorized in accordance with visitation by different species of turtles.
