Parque Nacional de Batuecas is a breathtaking UNESCO World Heritage Site full of rolling hills interlaced with impressive rivers, it is not for nothing that it is known as La Ciudad Dorada, The Golden City.  Throughout the province of Salamanca you will fine architectural gems of cultural heritage such as the cathedral city, Ciudad Rodrigo, especially the Catedral de Santa Maria a la Cabeza which exudes Gothic magnificence.  Lose yourself in the winding streets of La Alberca and be transported to another time...In Salamanca find pure art all around you.

In the nearby town of La Alberca you will find a traditional Spanish culture that emanates into all walks of local life, wander around this magical town and see if you can spy the religious manifestations in the stone.

Your Board Basis —

This offer is based on either a half board stay or a full board stay (5 nights or more).

The fine cuisine at Hotel Abadia will give you a flavour of Spanish life.  It uses the best of local products in an area that exudes quality and flavour and transforms it with a touch of nouvelle cuisine.  Perfectly compliment your delicious meal with a bottle of wine from the varied wine list.

Salamanca is known for it's culinary traditions.  Farinato, the traditional dish of the region, is a must have dish to complete your stay in this diverse vista.

Your Time —

Just for you: daily spa circuit per person (minimum stay of 4 nights); 1 thermal shower treatment and 1 relaxing message per person (minimum stay of 6 nights)

Fall in love with the hotel's spa, El Acueducto, as you pamper yourself in the Templarios' extensive wellness centre - 1,500 square metres! - where you can unwind in the sauna and relax in the Turkish Baths or indulge in a massage in a private room.

Challenge yourself to a session in the fitness centre and stay active on the tennis courts while enjoying the fresh, country air. After your swim in the heated outdoor pool, enjoy the views on the hammocks with a drink from the poolside bar.

Visit the on-site Tour desk and plan a leisurely hike through the breathtaking national park, if you can't decide where to go why not follow the path at the back of the hotel through the lush countryside and down into the town.  Follow the quintessential route, Via de la Plata, and enjoy the beautiful landscapes amd endless horizons, or stroll through the Sierra de Francia and discover the mountain villages with their medieval flavour.  El Ruta del Pozo de Los Humos is a must as it takes you on one of the most spectacular routes in Salamanca, for a truly unforgettable experience combine the walk with a boat ride down Del Rio Duero.  If you're feeling adventurous, canoe up El Meander Melero or cycle through the numerous trails.

Your Journey —

Flights: The flights included are with either a scheduled or no-frills airline and are subject to live availability and prices can change. You can choose your preferred departure times during the booking process. Please select your flight options carefully as departure and arrival airports may differ.

Transfers: are not included with this offer (Madrid airport = 3hrs / Oporto airport 3 hrs 10 minutes)

Car Hire: can be added at the next stage of booking process for an additional fee (flight inclusive offers only)

Meet & Greet —

If you are driving to the airport in the UK, and book our package including flights, you may wish to add our Meet and Greet service. Take the hassle out of airport parking and have an official representative take your car on arrival, and it will be waiting for you on your return.

This can be added at the next stage of booking process where available.

Car Hire —

Please note you cannot be guaranteed a specific make of car within a certain group.

The minimum age for driving a hire car in Spain is 21 and drivers must have held a full driving licence for a least 1 year. You must present a full valid driving licence on collection of the vehicle and in some cases a credit card deposit.

Your Contract —

If you book a package which includes flights, your contract will be with Voyage Privé. The air holiday package(s) shown are ATOL protected by the Civil Aviation Authority. Our ATOL number is 10170.

If you book a package which does not include flights, then ATOL protection does not apply. Your contract will be with the provider of the accommodation and not Voyage Privé. Voyage Privé acts only as agent for the accommodation provider.

Travel Documents —

Flight Inclusive Offers

You will receive an email confirming your booking within the next 48 hours.

Please check all details on this confirmation are correct. If there are any discrepancies, please notify us as soon as possible.

The airline is ticketless and therefore, you will not receive any hard copy documents. You will however, receive an email from us detailing your flight information and reference number to enable you to manage your booking online via the airline website.

You will also receive an accommodation voucher for presentation at the hotel reception at point of check-in.

If you have booked transfers, Meet & Greet, car hire or airport lounges, you will receive a separate voucher for each of these services. Please note that transfer vouchers are sent directly from the transfer supplier.

Please do make sure that you either add Voyage Privé to your Safe Senders list or check your Junk mail regularly for your travel documents.

We will send all documents out as early as possible (subject to full payment being received) but you should receive all your documentation at least 10 days prior to departure.
