Destination...Grenada —

Granada, the emblematic city of southern Andalusia, is the destination that you need to discover. Former capital of the last Muslim kingdom on the Iberian peninsula,  it contains emblematic monuments, majestically installed on the three hills that shelter the historic quarters of the old city. You will have the chance to stay in one of the two, Albaicin, classified on UNESCO's World Heritage List since 1994. You will only be a stone's throw away from not only the Alhambra Palace but also the Cathedral of the Incarnation. The rich heritage of the region will also be transposed onto your plate, the local cuisine, with Arab-Andalusian influences, will be a treat for your palette.

Your Hotel —

A beautiful paved street leads to your hotel, an ancient 17th palace that today carries the name of the revolutionary martyr who lived here during the 19th century. The inner courtyard is the primary architectural component of the establishment with its pillars sculpted by Diego de Siloé in the 16th century. It will be the perfect spot to spend a few quiet moments before heading to one of the 5 palace rooms available which are all accessible by this central feature. You will enjoy personalised service and a warm greeting, a gourmet welcome gift (per room, per stay) is our gift to you upon your arrival to get you into the local ambience. We have also negotiated an 18% reduction off of the cost of parking that you may use during your stay.

Sleep

The hotel's 5 rooms are each intimate and some of them have a view of the Alhambra. The rooms' elegant and sophisticated decoration, each with personalized furnishings, conserve an ambiance traditional overall and blend perfectly with the rest of the palace. Magnificent woodwork can be seen on balconies and doors, giving these individual cocoons true Iberian charm. The vivid colored bathrooms are equipped with whirlpool baths for those private moments of relaxation. The rooms' warm atmosphere will be amplified by candles that you will receive as a gift upon your arrival. 

- Double Deluxe Room (26 m² / max 2 persons): Comfortable room a welcoming decor, the woodwork, exposed ceiling beams and walls washed white in masonry lime give it a 17th century style. This room also has an option of a view of the Alhambra.

- Family Room (25 m² / max 4 persons): The Family Room has a traditional decor with vivid colours and is equipped with a sofa-sleeper and a double bed which can also be separated into two single beds.

- Junior Suite ( 40 m² / max 2 persons): The Junior Suite is a comfortable space, ideal for unwinding after a day of strolling the paved streets of the old city. It has all the necessary comforts as well as a magnificent view of the Alhambra Palace from high atop the Palacio Mariana Pineda.

Please note: the bed for the 3rd/4th guest sharing is likely to be a sofa bed or camp style bed.

Taste

The Palacio Mariana Pineda offers a complete breakfast buffet to start your day off right. As there is no restaurant in the hotel, you are free to follow your desires and discover the city's many restaurants.  On the menu are common and typical products from the region, to be enjoyed in the out of the ordinary and inviting dining establishments. There are also many bars in Granada that will provide you a chance to nibble on delicious tapas during  cocktail hour!

Experience

You will be staying in a veritable hotel-museum, proof of the rich history of Andalusia, influenced by many cultures and religions that still exist today. Nestled into the heart of the city, in a neighbourhood classified as a "World Heritage Site", you will have the chance to explore and discover the emblematic monuments of this great city which has conserved its majesty over time. Influenced by the Muslim, Jewish, Gypsy and Christian cultures over the centuries, Granada has evolved many times over, thus producing an array of architectural marvels. During your stay, do not hesitate in treating yourself to a massage or personal treatment, services also provided by your hotel.

By plane:
-The Malaga airport is about 1 hour and 15 minutes away by car

Contract —

If you book a package which includes flights, your contract will be with Voyage Privé. The air holiday package(s) shown are ATOL protected by the Civil Aviation Authority. Our ATOL number is 10170.

If you book a package which does not include flights, then ATOL protection does not apply. Your contract will be with the provider of the accommodation and not Voyage Privé. Voyage Privé acts only as agent for the accommodation provider.

Travel documents —

You will receive an email confirming your booking within the next 48 hours. Please check all details on this confirmation are correct. If there are any discrepancies, please notify us as soon as possible. 

Accommodation Only:
You will also receive an accommodation voucher for presentation at the hotel reception at point of check-in.

Flight Inclusive Offers
The airline is ticket-less and therefore, you will not receive any hard copy documents. You will however, receive an email from us detailing your flight information and reference number to enable you to manage your booking online via the airline website. You will also receive an accommodation voucher for presentation at the hotel reception at point of check-in.

Please do make sure that you either add Voyage Privé to your Safe Senders list or check your Junk mail regularly for your travel documents. We will send all documents out as early as possible (subject to full payment being received) but you should receive all your documentation at least 10 days prior to departure.
