Here you will find Catalonia's most extensive and best-preserved medieval Jewish quarter, the awe-inspiring 12th-century Arab baths, the medieval walls which lend unforgettable city views, and so much more culture from throughout the ages.
The world-famous Costa Brava (20 minutes away) offers visitors picturesque scenery and many opportunities to enjoy a number of beautiful coastal villages, as well as famous beaches, coves and breathtaking sea views.
Why not visit the previous title holder of the world's best restaurant, El Celler de Can Roca, just 28km away? Practising your swing is also not a problem as this area boasts the PGA Catalunya Golf Club (45km). Those who wish to travel further and visit the Catalan capital will find Barcelona only 1 hour away, and the medieval city of Besalú (23km) is also worth the trip.
