The H10 Art Gallery is situated on Carrer d’Enric Granados,
a quiet street minutes away from the bustle of Barcelona
where major shopping streets, business centres, restaurants, bars and architectural jewels such as Gaudi’s La Pedrera and Casa Batllo reside. With public transport just a short distance away from the hotel, it is incredibly easy to get around the busy city.
Barcelona is perhaps most famous for its art and architecture, which is why staying at the H10 Art Gallery is so fitting. One of the main attractions of the city is Gaudi’s modernist architecture – visit the Sagrada Família, Parc Güell and La Pedrera for his most famous works and then wander to Palau Güell, Casa Batlló and Casa Vicens to see some of his lesser known buildings.
For more art culture, head to Els 4 Gats where artists such as Dalí and Picasso hung out, pop to Fundacio Joan Miró – one of the world’s largest museums
– and visit Museu Picasso where the artist’s formative works are housed. Two metro stops away from H10 Art Gallery is Las Rambles, one of the most famous streets in Europe known for its international fashion shops and its trees that line the promenade.
Meander around and soak in the architecture, get a bite to eat at La Boqueria Market, watch the street performers and go up the Columbus Monument. Gorge yourself with delicious tapas and pintxos in the city famous for its delectable small plates of food.
There are delightful restaurants to dine at every turn, especially near the H10 Art Gallery – make sure you eat late like a local (around 2pm for lunch and 9pm for dinner) so you don’t miss the exciting atmosphere.
