Situated at west from Albufeira, the Salgados Beach is a continuation of Praia Grande to the east of Salgados Lagoon. The beach landscape and the Natural Reserve invite long walks, which allows you to discover the flora and fauna, particularly the many birds species like flamingos.
Salgados Lagoon (500 metres)
Only a few steps away from Herdade dos Salgados, Salgados Lagoon is one of Portugal’s most beautiful Nature Reserves and very popular among birdwatchers.
Over 150 bird species have been identified in the lagoon such as the Greater Flamingo, the Black-winged Stilt and the Ferruginous Duck, which uses this Reserve as its only nesting place in the country.

The beach is within walking distance and the sea view from the course adds to this scenic golfing experience.
