Beginning in cultural capital Oslo, you will make your way to smaller charming cities such as Bergen, with its UNESCO listed waterfront. Along the way you will witness the spectacular scenery of the country, where smooth glass-like fjords reflect the soaring mountains above.
As for accommodation, we have selected comfortable and cosy hotels in convenient locations, so you can be assured of a restful night after your day's adventures.

Welcome to the Kingdom of Norway – a country with the most beautiful fjords on Earth. Upon arrival in Oslo,you own way to your hotel for check-in. The rest of the day at leisure - walk along the streets and explore the city of the royal family and the main Karl Johan’s street where you can explore a variety of shops and cafes.
Day 2: Oslo
After breakfast, head out & explore the city. We recommend that you visit some of the city's best-loved attractions such as the Frogner Park with its magnificent sculptures, the museum of Viking ships, showing three original Viking Age ships, the Royal Palace, City Hall and Akershus Fortress.
After breakfast, make your way to the train station for your journey to Myrdal. Myrdal station is a mountain railway station and junction, located about 13 km from the village of Flåm. Here you will board the famous Flåmsbana - one of the steepest train lines in the world. The train journey runs through fantastic nature, past the Rallar road, steep mountains, breath-taking waterfalls, through 20 tunnels and offers so many viewpoints that many feel like travelling multiple times between the mountain and the fjord.
Arrive in Flåm, where you will have some free time to discover this beautiful village. Your journey continues with a cruise on the Sognefjord - the King of Norway and the longest fjord in Norway. The initial part of the fjord, called Aurlandsfjord, is a 17-kilometre arm of the world’s second longest fjord, the Sognefjord (204 km). It is considered to be one of the most picturesque fjords in the world.
Today, our members can choose to add an optional full day excursion to Fjærland. Enjoy the wonderful fjord journey to the villages among the glaciers - Balestrand and Fjærland. Along the fjord, you'll pass picturesque villages, waterfalls and steep mountains. Fjærland is situated where the glacier meets the fjord.
Day 5: Balestrand - Bergen
Start your day with breakfast in the hotel. During the late afternoon, you will embark on a cruise destined to Bergen – the world heritage city. Bergen is the Gateway to the Fjords of Norway. As a UNESCO World Heritage City and a European City of Culture, the Bergen region has the ideal combination of nature, culture and exciting urban life all year around.
Enjoy breakfast in the hotel, then spend your day exploring Bergen. Pass through the most emblematic places such as the Hanseatic Bryggen, with the church of Mary, the Hakon fortress and the famous fish market. You can visit the Fløibanen Funicular, which will take you to the top of the Mountain Fløyen, for an overall view of the city.
Day 7: Departure for the UK
After breakfast, you will have some time to do some last minute shopping before you make your own way to the airport for your flight home.

You will be staying in a Standard Room throughout your tour on a Bed and Breakfast basis.

Flights: The flights included are with either a scheduled or no frills airline and are subject to live availability and prices can change. You can choose your preferred departure times during the booking process. Please select your flight options carefully as departure and arrival airports may differ.
Transfers: Transfers can be added at the next stage of the booking process for an additional fee.
Trains from Oslo to Flåm and ferries from Flåm to Balestrand and Balestrand to Bergen are included as per itinerary.
