The Sands at Nomad —
You will enjoy a 6, 9, 10 or 12 night stay in a Standard Room on a half board basis (breakfast & evening meal in the hotel's main restaurant - excludes drinks)

The hotel is set amid 26 acres of indigenous coastal forest fronted by 225 metres of gentle lawns and waving palm trees, enjoying uninterrupted access to one of Kenya’s most unspoilt stretches of silver sand and aquamarine sea. Every effort has been made to keep the natural vegetation of the Resort intact. All gardens and imported plants are carefully integrated into the Resort’s original flora with an aim at increasing the indigenous wildlife.
Set aside from the resort for extra privacy and accessed by a private gateway, the restaurant offers a luxurious tropical breakfast buffet to start your day, and a range of fine options ranging form the freshest sushi to wood-fired pizzas.

Set in the main building overlooking part of the ancient coastal forest, these spacious rooms are in the near vicinity of the reception, pool and beach. All the rooms are individually designed and furnished with an inspired combination of Swahili objects d’art furniture and the finest mahogany woodwork.

Your Safari —
1 Night Safari Itinerary
After an early breakfast, depart for Ngutuni Wildlife Sanctuary. Enjoy a morning game drive, followed by lunch. After lunch continue onto Taita Hills Sanctuary for an afternoon game drive, returning to the lodge as the sun sets. Dinner will be at the lodge.
Overnight at Sarova Saltlick Lodge on a full board basis.
Day 2: Tsavo East – Mombasa (approx. travel time: 4hr / 245km)
After breakfast enjoy a morning game drive in the sanctuary returning to the lodge for lunch before continuing your journey to Mombasa, aiming to reach Sands at Chale Island Hotel in the evening.
2 Night Safari Itinerary
After breakfast, you will be picked up and depart to Shimba Hills National Reserve, located 45km from Diani Beach.The reserve is the second largest rainforest in the coast region with rich flora and fauna. It hosts the highest number of African elephant and the rare Sable Antelope.
Arrive with a visit of Shifoga traditional village followed by visit to the magnificent Sheldrickwaterfalls. This will be followed by game drive and later lunch at the Green Safari Lodge.Afternoon sundowner at the lodge (canapés provided but drinks not included).
Overnight at Green Safari Lodge on a full board basis
Day 2: Shimba Hills – Ngutuni / Taita Hills (approx. travel time: 4hrs / 245km)
After breakfast, depart to Ngutuni Sanctuary. Arrive for game drive in the sanctuary and later lunch at Ngutuni Lodge. After lunch drive to Taita Hills. Check in at Sarova Saltlick Lodge.
Dinner and Overnight at Sarova Saltlick Lodge
Day 3: Taita Hills – Diani Beach (approx. travel time: 5hrs / 290km)
Early morning game drive in the sanctuary followed by breakfast at the lodge. Mid-morning game drive followed by lunch at Taita hills Lodge. After lunch, depart to Diani arriving late in the evening.
Please note the day of safari departure will be communicated to you upon arrival at Sands at Chale Nomad and can commence on any day during your stay. You will be required to check-out of Sands at Chale when you go on safari. You will then check-in again to Sands at Chale upon your return from safari.
