Delight in the breakfast served at Artemisia Resort. Serving only fresh and quality products, your morning meal will consist of cheeses, cold cuts, eggs, fruits are produced by local farms and organic products including cakes, pastries, biscuits and jams which are homemade following the ancient recipes of the tradition of Ragusa.

Depending on the season, you may be indulging in various flavours of oranges, figs, prickly pears, blackberries, peaches, almonds, walnuts and pomegranates, all of which are harvested in the surrounding garden. A wide section of the buffet is dedicated to children, gluten and sugar free food, and during the summer it is possible to enjoy breakfast on the outdoor terrace.

Between 4 to 6pm, you are invited to a sensory journey to find the the most suitable fragrance of herbal tea, for your taste. Chose among 17 different types of herbal teas currently present the collection including exclusive infusions, such as red vine and the aromas of Sicily.

You may also accompany your chosen infusion with a large buffet of local biscuits, fresh cakes, confetti, local honey and flavored water. The cost per person is € 6.00. Don't worry, in the event that you do not like any of the local fragrances, you can still choose the classics of the Twinings.

Guided tour and tasting at the Gulino oil mill

Oleificio Gulino (the Gulino Oil Mill) is one of the few mills which can currently boast century old traditions in the field of transforming olives into oil. In 1880 when Giovanni Gulino, the great-great grandfather of the namesake grandson and current owner, founded the first oil press. Since then five generations have taken turns managing the company, enthusiastically passing on the art of Art of Good Oil. On site you will be able tour the factory, as well as taste and buy oils with different fragrances. The oil mill is located in the state road between Ragusa and Catania, 25 km from the hotel.

Car Hire —

Please note you cannot be guaranteed a specific make of car within a certain group.
The minimum age for driving a hire car in Italy is 21 and drivers must have held a full driving licence for a least 1 year.

The lead name on the booking will be confirmed as the named driver.  The named driver must present a credit card in their name when collecting the car (credit cards in other names will not be accepted).

The named driver must also present a full valid driving licence on collection of the vehicle and in some cases a credit card or cash deposit will be required.

Please ensure that you check your car hire documents carefully once received as this will advise if there are any taxes/charges to be paid locally as well as potential mileage restrictions.

Your Contract —

If you book a package which includes flights, your contract will be with Voyage Privé. The air holiday package(s) shown are ATOL protected by the Civil Aviation Authority. Our ATOL number is 10170.

If you book a package which does not include flights, then ATOL protection does not apply. Your contract will be with the provider of the accommodation and not Voyage Privé. Voyage Privé acts only as agent for the accommodation provider.

Please check all details on this confirmation are correct. If there are any discrepancies, please notify us as soon as possible.

The airline is ticketless and therefore, you will not receive any hard copy documents. You will however, receive an email from us detailing your flight information and reference number to enable you to manage your booking online via the airline website.

You will also receive an accommodation voucher for presentation at the hotel reception at point of check-in.

If you have booked transfers car hire or airport lounges, you will receive a separate voucher for each of these services. Please note that transfer vouchers are sent directly from the transfer supplier.

Please do make sure that you either add Voyage Privé to your Safe Senders list or check your Junk mail regularly for your travel documents.

We will send all documents out as early as possible (subject to full payment being received) but you should receive all your documentation at least 10 days prior to departure.
