Your Destination —
Tuscany is possibly the greatest repository of art in the world, from extraordinary paintings and sculpture to frescoes and architectural masterpieces. Visitors to Tuscany come for many reasons. Many come in search of fine art, others to explore the extraordinary countryside. Gourmets and wine buffs descend on Tuscany to enjoy the simple yet wonderful cuisine and wine. Walkers enjoy the mountain paths, cyclists the rolling hills, summer vacationers the sea coast and islands. Students come to learn the beautiful Italian language and culture.
But arguably the most spectacular thing about Tuscany is the breathtaking scenery. Central Tuscany is dotted with medieval hilltop fortresses, vine-planted hillsides and sculptural stands of cypress trees; the northwest and east harbour boast dramatic mountain ranges and fecund forests; and the central and southern coasts feature a garland of islands floating tantalisingly close to a shoreline teeming with wildlife. The range of outdoor activities on offer is equally diverse, contributing to the region's reputation as a repository of grand-slam sights and experiences unmatched anywhere in the world.
Florence is a city that never fails to impress, and visitors from all over the world come here to discover what has made it so famous. Florence was Italy’s capital for a short while in 1865, and this period has helped the city turn into one of the most fascinating in the region. Florence’s treasures need no introduction, from Michelangelo’s David to churches, cathedrals, museums, or simply the general atmosphere of the city, with bustling outdoor cafés and beautiful squares.
Florence is all about sitting back to relax and enjoying the atmosphere, or using the city as your base to discover other parts of Tuscany like Siena, Pisa and Lucca, brimming with vineyards and beautiful rural villages.

Evidence of this is seen in the Parish Church of San Giovanni Battista in Varna and the Parish Church in Chianni, built in 988 AD and considered unique for the solemn grandeur of its façade.
