Grand Hotel Rimini 5*

Built at the beginning of the last century and set in the heart of a breathtaking park overlooking the Adriatic Sea, the Grand Hotel Rimini is universally considered to be the most prestigious hotel of the Riviera. The location, décor and lavish atmosphere distinguish the Grand Hotel as an ideal destination for an exclusive holiday. The hotel, surrounded by over 4000 square meters of landscaped garden , has two swimming pools (one of which is heated), a private beach of 11000 square meters, bars and restaurants . The Grand Hotel's pièce de résistance is its magnificent panoramic terrace, often a stage for concerts, parties and social events.

Your Board Basis

Grand Hotel Rimini offers its guests an exclusive restaurant service, able to satisfy the most demanding palates. La Dolce Vita Restaurant, decorated in Liberty style and adorned by sumptuous Venetian lamps, Neoclassical architecture and frescoed ceilings is composed of various rooms that can seat up to 600 people. The bar, with authentic 17th Century décor, is situated near the reception and offers an extensive selection of cocktails, beer and prestigious wines (with the choice of à la carte menus). An ideal setting for an occasional snack or simply to enjoy a drink in the company of friends. Please note: some dining outlets/menu items and premium, branded and international drinks may not be included and may incur a surcharge payable locally. Meals, snacks and drinks may be available at selected times only.

Your Time

At the Grand Hotel Rimini, there are two spa wellness centres. One, relatively new, is located inside the hotel and can be easily reached from the rooms by means of a dedicated lift. It is equipped with a small swimming pool with water jets and hydromassage, emotional shower, sauna, steam bath, relaxation area, fitness room with Technogym machines, cabins for massages and beauty treatments. The other one is open in summer months and is located right on the hotel’s beautiful private beach of golden sand. A wooden structure with white muslin curtains guarantees maximum comfort and freshness during the treatments. An evocative environment, by the sea, where beauty treatments and traditional or oriental massages become a unique sensory experience.

Entry Requirements

You must ensure you have a valid passport to travel on.

If your passport describes you as a British Citizen, you do not need a visa to enter Italy. For non-British citizens, you should check the current entry requirements on the website of the Italian Foreign Ministry.

Health

For information about important health advice and any vaccinations required please visit www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice and https://travelhealthpro.org.uk/countries.

If vaccinations or other preventive measures are required, you will need to visit your health professional at least 8 weeks before your trip. In the event that you are referred to a medical facility for treatment, you should contact your insurance/medical assistance company immediately.

Please note that passport, visa and health requirements can change. It is every traveller’s responsibility to ensure they have a valid passport, any required visas, and all the necessary vaccinations/health requirements as well as adequate insurance.

Brexit
If you are travelling to the EU, the UK government recommends that you have six months left on your passport on the date of your arrival to an EU country. You should also check when your passport was renewed.

If you renewed a 10-year adult passport before it expired, extra months may have been added to your passport’s expiry date. These extra months over 10 years will not count towards the 6 months that must be remaining. The UK Government has published a website tool to check the validity of your passport under these rules: https://www.passport.service.gov.uk/check-a-passport

You can renew your passport online or by going to a Post Office with a Check and Send service: https://www.gov.uk/renew-adult-passport/renew

If your passport does not meet the criteria for third-country nationals, you may be denied entry to any of the Schengen area countries.
