Your Itinerary

Dublin has a wealth of treasures for the visitor with cultural delights like St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Dublin Castle, Trinity College to name but a few! In the evening, head into the trendy Temple Bar and enjoy a pint with entertaining Irish live music or visit the Castle Dracula in the birthplace of Bram Stoker. Overnight in Dublin.

Day 2: Dublin
Today explore The Guinness Storehouse, a unique experience where the visitor can discover what goes into making a pint of Guinness. In the afternoon visit Glasnevin Cemetery. With over 1.5 million people buried in Glasnevin Cemetery, the haunted tag is hardly a shocker. You can indulge in a spot of spookiness with a visit to their museum. In the evening, take the Dublin Ghost Tour. The bus itself is a unique attraction. En route you see some of the most spooky places in Ireland’s capital (daily possible). Overnight in Dublin.
Day 3: Leap and Charleville Castles
Depart today for Galway and en route visit Charleville Castle. The castle is reputed to be haunted by a little girl named Harriet. Her presence in the castle has been reported many times by many different people… A little off the route you can also visit Leap Castle - Ireland's most haunted castle. Here the O’Carrolls brought their brides and captives and within lurks Ireland's most intriguing elemental presence - unique in that it is reputed to give off a ghastly ghostly odour. Overnight in Co. Galway.
Day 4: Aran Island
Today take a ferry to visit one of the Aran Islands, the beautiful island of Inishmore. Inishmore is a paradise of flora and fauna but also a vast open-air museum, rich in archaeological and monastic sites. You can tour the island by rental bike or minibus and visit the impressive stone fort Dun Aengus. In the evening discover Galway City. This medieval city is a whirlwind of activity with pubs and restaurants, arts, crafts and culture, bursting with things to do and people to meet. Overnight in Co. Galway
Day 5: Bunratty Castle, Cliffs of Moher
Today en route to Killarney visit the Burren, a vast lunar landscape harbouring some 2000 species of rare plants and flowers. Beneath the surface is unique rock formations dating back two million years. You will find into this region the famous Poulnabrone Dolmen. Stop then at the towering Cliffs of Moher, a famous feature of County Clare which stretches for approximately five miles along the rugged coastline. Continue south and stop at Bunratty Castle & Folk Park. The Castle is the most complete and authentic medieval fortress in Ireland. Built in 1425, it was restored in 1954 to its former medieval splendour and now contains mainly 15th and 16thcentury furnishings, and works of art which capture the mood of those times. Overnight in Co. Kerry.

Day 6: Dingle Peninsula and Killarney
Drive to the Dingle Peninsula, one of the most spectacular parts of Ireland. You’ll pass through Castlemaine, then to Inch where the beautiful beach is and onto the charming little harbour at Dingle Town. Travel to Cork via the picturesque villages of Kenmare and Glengarriff. From Glengarriff, you can take a ferry to Garnish Island (weather permitting, the boat operates from April to October). The Island has a wonderful history and its unusual microclimate allows a range of exotic subtropical plant species to flourish. Then continue to Bantry and visit Bantry House. It is not only one of the finest historic houses in Ireland but it also commands one of the best views overlooking Bantry Bay. You can then visit the harbour village of Cobh. You have the opportunity to experience the Titanic exhibition, where you will learn more about life on board the maiden voyage and the sinking of the Titanic. Overnight in Co. Cork

It tells a story of crime, cruelty, exile and misery. Dare you come and experience first-hand the sights and sounds of harsh life in the Dungeon? Or you could just sit in the solitude cell and feel the desperation of those that were there before you. (Possibility to visit the gaol by night on irregular dates, on request only). Overnight in Co.
