Réunion Island —
Mountain bike through the island's lush forests and visit the many quaint and colourful villages scattered across the countryside. Upon arrival you can book excursions through the hotel for an array of different and exciting options to suit everyone (payable locally).
Helicopter tours - Since you are on "the great entertainment island", you might as well go for an unforgettable experience full of sensations with an overview of Reunion by helicopter!
Volcano excursion - Take this excursion to Piton de la Fournaise and visit the Maison du Volcan. Go on a pedagogical tour of volcanology. The permanent exhibition provides information on the geological formation of the island, on volcano-related risks and the way they are controlled.
Excursion to the South - Discover the hidden charms of the South! Follow the road to Grand Anse creek, with its beach bordered with coconut palms, a real haven of peace. Take the small road running along the sugar cane fields with a magnificent view of the ocean. Return to the coast at Saint-Joseph and Cap Méchant, located in the middle of vacoa forest. From there, you see the imposing view over this coast of black basaltic rock which contrasts with the intense blue of the sea.
Excursion to Cilaos - Visit the sunny Cirque de Cilaos. Check out the vineyards and explore the countryside! Dominated by the Piton des Neiges, Cilaos is the sunniest of the 3 cirques. The beneficial effects of its spas have been renowned since the 17th century. In the past, baths were dug directly into the rocks and people used to reach the village sitting on a chair carried by bearers. Cilaos cultivates a traditional gastronomy through its lentils and wine. Its impressive relief and its numerous torrents make it a paradise for mountain sports such as hiking, canyoning, rock climbing and mountain biking.
