The Maldives archipelago consists of 1190 tiny islands scattered across the Indian Ocean. Only 185 of these islands are inhabited, while the others are used largely for tourism and agriculture. The atolls are composed of live coral reefs and sand bars perched atop a submarine ridge, while the land features lush tropical vegetation with abundant local coconut palms.

The Maldives is renowned for its incredible diving opportunities. The crystal clear water and shallow lagoons are perfect for snorkelling, while the reef walls offer a kaleidoscope of sea life for more experienced divers. The Maldives have an amazing diversity of sea life, with corals and over 2000 species of fish, ranging from reef fish and reef sharks to moray eels, rays and whale sharks. The island's many sheltered lagoons also provide the perfect destination to enjoy an adventure-filled family holiday or romantic getaway for two.

At Filitheyo you can experience one of the most beautiful spas in the Maldives. The jungle spa is nestled in the heart of the island, surrounded by lush foliage and stunning tropical gardens.

Surrounded by verdant vegetation and exotic birdsong, the spacious air-conditioned spa treatment rooms have glass walls on three sides. From here you can take in the spectacular views and discover an array of treatments. Alternatively, you can have your treatment in the open air, under the shade of a pagoda.

Diving
Filitheyo is one of the finest resorts in the Maldives for diving and the team of multilingual Werner Lau staff are waiting to welcome you.

The house reef is in excellent health and there are seven marked access points. Here on the house reef you can discover all kinds of exciting marine life including reef fish, rays, turtles, sharks, eels and lobsters. In the surrounding area, Faafu Atoll, you can explore by dive boat excursion more than 40 pristine reefs, thilas, channels, wrecks and caves bursting with vibrant marine life and healthy corals. As it's the only resort in the atoll you won't run into other groups of divers at the dive sites either.

Your Journey —

Flights: The flights included are with either a scheduled or no-frills airline and are subject to live availability and prices can change. You can choose your preferred departure times during the booking process. Please select your flight options carefully as departure and arrival airports may differ.

Transfers: Shared return seaplane and boat transfers are included. The seaplane transfer will take 35 mins and the boat transfer to reach the island will take another 10 mins.

Meet & Greet —

If you are driving to the airport in the UK you may wish to add our 'Meet and Greet' service.  Take the hassle out of airport parking and have an official representative take your car on arrival, and it will be waiting for you on your return.

This can be added at the next stage of booking process where available.

Your Contract —

If you book a package which includes flights, your contract will be with Voyage Privé. The air holiday package(s) shown are ATOL protected by the Civil Aviation Authority. Our ATOL number is 10170.

If you book a package which does not include flights, then ATOL protection does not apply. Your contract will be with the provider of the accommodation and not Voyage Privé. Voyage Privé acts only as agent for the accommodation provider.

Travel Documents —

Flight Inclusive Offers -

You will receive an email confirming your booking within the next 48 hours.

Please check all details on this confirmation are correct. If there are any discrepancies, please notify us as soon as possible.

The airline is ticketless and therefore, you will not receive any hard copy documents. You will however, receive an email from us detailing your flight information and reference number to enable you to manage your booking online via the airline website.

You will also receive an accommodation voucher for presentation at the hotel reception at point of check-in.

If you have booked transfers, 'Meet & Greet', car hire or airport lounges, you will receive a separate voucher for each of these services. Please note that transfer vouchers are sent directly from the transfer supplier.

Please do make sure that you either add Voyage Privé to your ‘Safe Senders’ list or check your ‘Junk mail’ regularly for your travel documents.

We will send all documents out as early as possible (subject to full payment being received) but you should receive all your documentation at least 10 days prior to departure.
