Day 1 - UK
Fly from London Heathrow’s Terminal 5 on British Airways to Mumbai, departing late evening.
Day 2 - Mumbai
Arrive Mumbai mid-morning where you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Stay at the Taj Land’s End, a deluxe hotel, for one night. The remainder of the day is at leisure.
Day 3 - Kanha National Park
Transfer to the airport this morning for your Indigo Airlines flight to Nagpur, and transfer to Kanha National Park, one of India’s finest wildlife reserves. Stay at Banjaar Tola, a wonderful wildlife lodge with tented suites on the banks of the Banjaar River, for three nights.
Day 4 - Kanha National Park
Enjoy morning and afternoon safaris in the park, by open 4x4. Witness the region’s abundant wildlife, including sloth bear, wolf, hyena, jackal, nilgai, sambar, chital, wild boar, leopard and of course the iconic Bengal tiger! Kanha is also home to more than 200 bird specias.
Day 5 - Kanha National Park
Another exciting day of safaris.
Day 6 - Pench National Park
Drive to Pench National Park, the setting for Rudyard Kipling’s Jungle Book, for two nights at Baghvan, another well appointed lodge with luxury tented accommodation. A typical Central Indian teak jungle, Pench is home to a vibrant variety of wildlife including the tiger, leopard, wild dog, gaur, sambar, chital and several bird species. The open habitat lends itself well to wildlife viewing in addition to allowing for striking views of the surrounding area, rich in natural beauty.
Day 7 - Pench National Park
Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in the park today.
Day 8 - Hyderabad
Drive to Nagpur airport today for the afternoon Jetlite flight to Hyderabad, city of the Nizams. Stay two nights at the resplendent Taj Falaknuma Palace, an oasis of luxury perched on a hillock overlooking the city.
Day 9 - Hyderabad
The day is at leisure to enjoy the inviting pool and sample the culinary delights of the hotel’s Indian and Italian speciality restaurants. You have the option to take a sightseeing tour of this historic city, to see the Golconda Fort, the Qutb Shahi tombs and the Salarjung Museum – home to the world’s largest one-man art collection.
Day 10 - UK
A very early start, with a transfer to Hyderabad airport for the British Airways morning flight to Heathrow, which arrives the same afternoon.
