Day 1 - Delhi
Arrive Delhi International Airport, meet, assist and transfer to the hotel. Standing along the West End of Gangetic Plain, the capital city, Delhi, unwinds a picture rich with culture, architecture and human diversity, deep in history, monuments, museums, galleries, gardens and exotic shows. Comprising of two contrasting yet harmonious parts, the Old Delhi and New Delhi, the city is a travel hub of Northern India. Overnight in The Oberoi.
Day 2 - Delhi, Agra
This morning after breakfast proceed for a full-day combined city tour of Old and New Delhi. In Old Delhi visit the Red Fort, - a marvel in red sandstone, the Raj Ghat, - memorial to Mahatma Gandhi, Jama Masjid, - the largest mosque in India. Continue to New Delhi, drive past India Gate, the Rashtrapati Bhavan (formerly the viceroy's residence) and the Parliament House. Visit the 12th century Qutub Minar, gracefully hand-carved for its entire height of 234ft, and the Ashoka iron pillar, which has withstood the ravages of time and not rusted even after 1500 years and the mausoleum of emperor Humayun - a forerunner of the Mughal style of architecture. Later drive to Agra – the land of the Taj Mahal, located at a distance of 203kms/4hrs 30 minutes. Arrive Agra and transfer to hotel. Overnight in Oberoi Amarvilas.
Day 3 - Agra
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed with the sightseeing tour, visiting Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. This beautiful monument was built by Shahjahan in the loving memory of his beloved consort Mumtaz Mahal. This enchanting mausoleum, on the bank of river Yamuna started in 1631 it took 22 years to complete with the help of an estimated 20000 workers. Also, visit the Agra Fort, built by Emperor Akbar in 1565. Inside are several palaces and the largest of pure marble mosques-the Moti Masjid, a magnificent citadel with exquisite marble palaces, ornate alcoves and terrace pavilions. Overnight in Oberoi Amarvilas.
Day 4 - Jaipur
This morning after breakfast proceed to Jaipur (232 kms/5hrs), Enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri which is located at a distance of 36 kms/1 hrs drive from Agra an epic in red sandstone. A city of yesteryears today lost in the mists of time. Fatehpur Sikri which literally means “The City of Victory” is a deserted city built by Emperor Akbar to commemorate the birth of his son. Later proceed to Jaipur. On arrival in Jaipur check in to the hotel. Overnight in The Oberoi Rajvilas.
Day 5 - Jaipur
This morning after breakfast proceed with the sightseeing tour, visit to Amber Fort on elephant back (subject to availability). Inside the Fort visit the Jag Mandir or the Hall of Victory. Inside the Jag Mandir is the famed Sheesh Mahal - a room with all the four walls and ceiling completely embedded with glittering mirror pieces, which were specially imported from Belgium during that period. Later you will have a photography-stop at Hawa Mahal - the Palace of Winds. Visit to the Maharaja's City Palace, the former Royal residence, part of it converted into a museum. Visit the Jantar Mantar, which is the largest stone and marble crafted observatory in the world. Evening free for shopping or leisure. Overnight in The Oberoi Rajvilas.
Day 6 - Gurgaon
Today, after breakfast, drive to Gurgaon (220 kms/4hrs 30mts). Arrive Gurgaon & transfer to the hotel. Overnight in The Oberoi.
Day 7 - Gurgaon
This day you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to onward destination.
