Your Destination —
The energy is palpable on this magical island, where astonishing natural phenomena inspire the welcoming, creative locals and draw an increasing number of visitors in search of splendour.
The power of Icelandic nature turns prosaic into extraordinary. A dip in the pool becomes a soak in a geothermal lagoon, a casual stroll can transform into a trek across a glittering glacier, and a quiet night of camping may mean front-row seats to the aurora borealis’ curtains of fire, or the soft, pinkish hue of the midnight sun.
Iceland has a transformative effect on people, too – its sagas turned brutes into poets; its stories of huldufólk (hidden people) may make believers out of sceptics. It may just have the world's highest concentration of dreamers, authors, artists and musicians, all fuelled by their surrounds.

They will also provide interesting information about the different kinds of whales and seabirds you can expect to see.
Whales and dolphins often spotted include minke whales, humpback whales, harbour porpoises and white-beaked dolphins. The tours have a special interactive and educational focus so people can discover more about the ocean wildlife.

This amazing day tour takes you around the Golden Circle to see three of Iceland’s highlights Gullfoss waterfall, Geysir geothermal area and Thingvellir National Park, before heading to Fontana’s natural steam baths.
The original sauna was built in the 1920s and was little more than a shack with two compartments, built above the hot spring that bubbles and gurgles below the ground. Today, a modern complex welcomes you to relax with various hot tubs and steam baths naturally heated by Icelandic hot springs. Before returning to Reykjavik, you will be offered some typical Icelandic rye bread which is slow-baked in the natural hot springs.
