Everyone rushes to Iceland in winter in search of the Northern Lights, and for good reason : the northern lights are a fascinating sight you will not soon forget. If the sky is clear, the observations may occur from fall to early spring. Some say that as the night is cold, the show will be more colorful and intense. Auroras, usually greenish, may also appear yellow, red, pink and even white .
This tour is dependent on weather and sky conditions. If the visit is assured but the northern lights could not be observed, we will offer you free to repeat this tour at another time of your stay.

The whales most frequently seen on tours are the Minke whales, Humpback whales, Dolphins and Porpoises. You will be led by excellent guides who will tell you about your trip and describe what you can see and where to look, together with an introduction and safety guide. You will learn about the seabirds and nature in the Faxaflói bay. How much you will see will depend on sea conditions and season, but your qualified guides will always be happy to try to answer all your questions. No two whale watching trips are the same. You will rarely have to go further than 15 km from the harbour. For your comfort and warmth, you will have special suits on board, but you will have to bring your warmest clothes (hats, scarves, gloves), as it can get very cold (even on the warmest days) when the boat is moving to follow the whales. You will be offered hot drinks and soup in the on-board café. Alternatively, you can sit inside the boat in the warmth, with large windows to watch the whales outside.
