Below Mouresi is the port of Damouhari and the gorgeous beach of Papa Nero, beyond which is Pelion's oldest seaside resort - Agios Ioannis.

Damouchari was established by Venezian sailors, when the ships of Venice had conquered the Mediterranean. They built a castle in Damouchari as protection against the pirates and as a station of supplies and rest during their long trips.

Transfers/Car Hire: Members booking from London Gatwick will fly into Volos via Skiathos.  A hire car will be waiting for you on arrival (transfers not included). 

Members booking flights from Manchester or Stansted will fly into Skiathos.  You will be transferred to Koukounaries area by minibus then onward from Koukounaries (Skiathos) to Platanias port (Pelion) by boat or sea taxi. Hire cars will be waiting for you at the port.

Approximate transfer time: 1 - 2 hours

Please note: flight details are given as a guide only and may change.  We will however notify you in advance if flights are more than 2 hours outside the time range given.  Specific flights cannot be selected and confirmed timings will be shown on your official documentation from the tour operator.  Flights are non-changeable and non-refundable at time of booking

Meet & Greet —

If you are driving to the airport in the UK, and book our package including flights, you may wish to add our 'Meet and Greet' service. Take the hassle out of airport parking and have an official representative take your car on arrival, and it will be waiting for you on your return.

This can be added at the next stage of booking process where available.

Car Hire —

Please note you cannot be guaranteed a specific make of car within a certain group.

The minimum age for driving a hire car in Greece is 21 and drivers must have held a full driving licence for a least 1 year. You must present a full valid driving licence on collection of the vehicle and in some cases a credit card or cash deposit.

Please ensure that you check your car hire documents carefully once received as this will advise if there are any taxes/charges to be paid locally as well as potential mileage restrictions.

Your Contract —

The flight inclusive offer(s) shown on this page are ATOL Protected by the Civil Aviation Authority. Voyage Privé is acting as agent for Ionian Island Holidays with ATOL number 5853 and your contract is with that company.

Travel Documents —

Once the booking process is complete, you will receive an automatic confirmation email from Voyage Prive detailing your chosen travel arrangements.

Your official ATOL receipt and booking confirmation issued by the Tour Operator will follow within 5 days.

We will send all documents out as early as possible (subject to full payment being received) but you should receive all your documentation at least 10 days prior to departure.  Generally, travel documents are sent via email however, in some cases they will be sent by post.

If you have booked Meet & Greet, you will receive a separate voucher for this via email.

Please do make sure that you add Voyage Privé to your ‘Safe Senders’ list and check your ‘Junk mail’ regularly for your travel documents.
