Your Destination —
In the heart of the Guisane Valley, in the Hautes-Alpes region of France, Serre Chevalier ski resort offers a privileged location whether you are a nature lover, passionate about sports, or just looking for somewhere for a memorable break! Stretching approximately 15km through the valley between the towns of Briançon to Le Monêtier, Serre Chevalier is a magical area of rural villages and tremendous snow-capped mountains covered in woodland.
This unique part of the French Alps boasts an average of 8 hours of sunshine per day, making it a perfect destination throughout the year, but the resort really comes alive in the winter, when visitors can explore 410 hectares of marked pistes in and around the valley. Briançon is the hub of the area, a charming city - the highest in France, in fact - housing a number of UNESCO World Heritage Sites and an intriguing set of fortifications. A little further down the valley, Chantemerle offers arguably the best access to the pistes, while Villeneuve offers some of the best nightlife.
