Founded in the 8th-9th Century BC as a Greek colony, Naples is one of the oldest inhabited cities in the world, and its 4,200 acre city centre is actually the largest in Europe and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
With the city being the birthplace of pizza, Naples has a wealth of authentic wood-burning oven pizzerias to try during your stay.
