The abundance of churches in this ancient city is particularly eye-catching: it is often said that regardless of where in the Old Town you are, you are always next to a church. From the Gothic masterpiece of St. Anne’s to thee a baroque splendour of Sts. Peter and Paul, the architectural variety demonstrates the rich heritage of the city, drawing from influences of different cultures over the centuries.
Established in 1201, the old centre of Riga was encircled by fortifications until the mid 19th century. Here are the oldest buildings in Rīga: the Dome Cathedral, St. Peter's Church, St. John's Church, St. Jacob's Church, the ‘Three Brothers’ houses, and Rīga Castle, which also houses the Latvian History Museum and the Foreign Art Museum.
The centerpiece of Rātslaukums Square is the reconstructed Blackheads' House, which was destroyed in World War II and is now owned by Rīga Council.
The medieval centre of Tallinn is said to be the most beautiful of all the Baltic countries. There is a reason for it being one of the most popular destinations in north Europe!
The most attractive places for tourists in the lower part of the Old Town are St. Nikolas Church , situated at the bottom of the Cathedral Hill, the Holy Ghost Church right in the centre and the beautiful St. Olav’s church in the north.
Other attractions are the Town Hall with its lively Town Hall Square and the guild houses. Toompea Hill, which is approx. 50 meters high, has for centuries been the throne for the ruler in Tallinn.
Don't miss the late Gothic Dome Church, the beautiful castle and the mighty Aleksander Nevskij’s Cathedral. The hill with its beautiful buildings, dominating the townscape, can be seen from the distance. The historic Old Town was declared the UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997.

Day 2 Saturday: VILNIUS-TRAKAI-VILNIUS (50 km)
9:00 a.m. a city tour of Vilnius, capital of Lithuania for more than 600 years.
The tour includes: St. Peter and Paul’s Church, Gediminas Castle, Cathedral Square with St. Stanislaw Cathedral and Bell tower, Bernardine Garden, St. Ann and Bernardines’ Church, Amber gallery-museum incl. tasting of amber vodka, Užupis- one of the oldest districts of Vilnius, mentioned in the historical sources as far back as the 16th century, nowadays the artists’ “republic”, which has its own constitution, national anthem, calendar and map.
Short photo stop Subaciaus Street to admire the view of the old town from the observation deck, the Gates of Dawn with a holy image of the Virgin Mary, Russian Orthodox Church of the Holy Spirit, Town Hall Square and Vilnius University (founded in 1579) with St. John’s Church. Afternoon trip to Trakai (25 km from Vilnius), the former capital of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania.
Visit to a 14th century castle, built on a small island in Lake Galve. Next visit is to Uzutrakis Manor. The famous European landscape architect and botanist E. F. Andre created the original Uzutrakis Park in a centennial forest with an interconnected pond system. Admire all it’s beauty from the mansion’s terrace. Return to Vilnius.
In the evening: Optional dinner at Lithuanian restaurant “Lokys” or similar (can be added at the next stage of booking for an additional fee).

Day 3 Sunday: VILNIUS- RIGA (300 km)
Breakfast at hotel.
Free time in Vilnius.
Afternoon transfer to bus station. Driving with regular bus to Riga.
Arrival in Riga. Transfer to hotel included. Check-in at the hotel.

9:00 a.m. a city tour of Riga.
A combined coach and walking tour encompasses the most significant sights of Riga: driving along the central boulevards of Riga, enjoying the view of the City Canal Parks, the Bastion Hill, the Powder Tower, the Latvian National Theatre, the Fine Arts Museum, the Art Nouveau Buildings of the beginning of the 20th century, the Freedom Monument, University of Latvia, Latvian National Opera House and the Daugava River.
During the walking part of the tour you will enjoy the beauty of the ancient Hanseatic City: picturesque streets of the Old Town, the Dome Cathedral, the Church of St. Peter, the old Guild Houses, the Swedish Gate, St. Jacob’s Church, the Parliament House, Old Riga Castle. Following the visit of the famous market halls of Riga.

Day 5 Tuesday: RIGA- TALLINN (300 km)
Breakfast at hotel.
Free time in Riga.
Afternoon transfer to bus station included. Driving with regular bus to Tallinn.

9:00 a.m. a city tour of Tallinn, visiting the Old Town of Tallinn - an example of Gothic architecture in the Baltic and Nordic countries. The tour includes Toompea Castle fortifications, the Dome Church (13th century), the Russian Orthodox Cathedral of Alexander Nevsky (19th century), Town Hall Square (15th century), St. Catherine's Passage, where artists of St. Catherine guild present their work, St. Olaf’s Church. Visit to Marzipan museum.
The marzipan museum room gives a good overview of the history of marzipan The exhibition displays approximately 200 marzipan figurines, cards and cakes, which have been made with moulds that are more than a hundred years old. At the museum, you can also observe the art of marzipan painting.

Day 7 Thursday: DEPARTURE FROM TALLINN
