Culturally Havana is a melting pot of influences from Europe, Africa and the Americas. Its unique ambiance and resilient character have lured writers, artists and even the occasional revolutionary. With a wealth of exciting attractions, there is so much to do and see. Explore the museums and galleries of the old town, enjoy a cabaret show at the Tropicana, visit the colourful markets at Palacio de la Artesanía, sip a mojito at one of the atmospheric bars or escape to the beach at Playas del Este. Now is the time to experience Havana, one of the world’s few unspoilt treasures.
Half-day tour in Havana (Included)
Enjoy a panoramic coach tour of the city, passing by places such as the Miamar district, the revolution square, the University of Havana, and part of the emblematic Malecon of Havana, to get a feeling of this beautiful city. Afterwards, embark on a walking tour of the Historical Centre of Havana, involving some of the main squares of the historical area of the city, declared a Cultural World Heritage by UNESCO. Return to the hotel or stay in the historical area for further exploration at your leisure.
Day tour to Vinales (Optional)
Enjoy a day tour to one of the most beautiful valleys in Cuba, land of the best tobacco of the world. Enjoy one of the best preserved natural areas in Cuba, and experience the unbelievable taste of Cuba Creole food cooked in a very special way. Ride on a boat along the underground river and visit a cigar factory (closed on weekends)
Vintage Car Tour (Optional)
Lunch included. This is a very special way of exploring Havana for over one hour, visiting the most interesting places of the Cuban capital from the seat of a classic vintage 1950's American car. You'll be picked up at 09.00 (time may be adjusted) to begin this panoramic city tour. Pass through Miramar district, Revolution Square, the University of Havana, stop at the iconic Hotel Nacional de Cuba.
The tour doesn't end here, after the vintage car experience get ready for a comprehensive walking tour of the historic centre of Havana. This tour begins from a place considered by many as the master piece of architecture in the country ëThe Capitol Building'. You'll visit the Central Park of the city, making the most of your time to view the former supreme court of justice, now the venue of a fine arts museum; the iconic Inglaterra Hotel and the world famous Grand Theater, main venue of the ballet and opera in Cuba.
Afterwards enjoy a stroll along the main pedestrian street in Old Havana, Obispo, and get a feel for the atmosphere of the city taking in street vendors, bars, artists studios and the famous Floridita bar/restaurant, among other iconic places. The final part of the walking tour will be dedicated to discovering the four main squares of the historical centre of Havana.
