Fly to Naples where you will be met and transferred to your ship, MSC Fantasia, for embarkation.
La Spezia is a large coastal city in the Liguria region of Northern Italy. Located between Genoa and Pisa on the Ligurian Sea, it is renowned for its harbour and its many museums. Discover the rugged coast of nearby Cinque Terre, UNESCO World Heritage Site or perhaps explore the Palio del Golfo museum.
Genoa is marvellously eclectic, vibrant and full of rough-edged style; it’s a great cruise excursion.
Indeed “La Superba” (The Superb), as it was known at the height of its authority as a Mediterranean superpower, boasts more zest and intrigue than all the surrounding coastal resorts put together.
During a day in this vibrant city you can explore its old town: a dense and fascinating warren of medieval alleyways home to large palazzi built in the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries by Genoa’s wealthy mercantile families and now transformed into museums and art galleries.
You should seek out the Cattedrale di San Lorenzo, the Palazzo Ducale, and the Renaissance palaces of Via Garibaldi which contain the cream of Genoa’s art collections, as well as furniture and decor from the grandest days of the city’s past, when its ships sailed to all corners of the Mediterranean Sea.
Famed for its Film Festival, Cannes combines glitzy wealth with wonderful natural beauty. Today, savour this Cote d'Azur hotspot by strolling around its iconic sights, including the palm-lined seafront, exclusive Rue d'Antibes shopping boulevard and Festival Center, fronted by the pavement hand imprints of film stars.

Barcelona is Spain's second-largest city and the capital of the Catalonia region. Lying along the Mediterranean coast, Barcelona is the leading industrial and financial centre of Spain as well as its main trade and tourist port.
To the northwest, a set of hills run parallel to the coast and in the southwest, the old town lies along the port divided by attractive tree-lined boulevards known as Las Ramblas.
Barcelona is a wonderfully vibrant city and, having been a cultural and artistic centre since the Middle Ages, really makes for a fantastic day away from your luxury cruise liner. With so much to see and do you are guaranteed to have a memorable day off ship.

Located on the island of Corsica, Ajaccio is a modern, laid-back coastal city with an interesting historic district. The town hosts a variety of dining and shopping options, with outdoor cafés complemented by a mild, pleasant climate. Well-known as the birthplace of Napoleon, the region has many historical attractions including the grandiose Napoléon monument, which looms over the Place de Gualle.

Many dishes are cooked with a traditional Italian flavour, although an assortment of international-styled options and an à la carte menu are also available.
At its heart you’ll find a real stone piazza complete with an espresso bar serving freshly-baked pastries and authentic gelati - the perfect place to take a moment away from bargain hunting in the chic boutiques and duty-free centre nearby.

You will be staying for 3 nights in a Balcony Room on a Half Board basis (breakfast and evening meal served in the main restaurant - excludes drinks)
Recently renovated, Hotel Michelangelo has 121 tastefully furnished rooms, all well equipped and perfectly sound proofed. The structure of the hotel has been developed around an ancient tower, dating back to the seventh century.
The hotel’s two restaurants offer cuisine which is both traditional and innovative, while of course being full of Mediterranean flavour. The head chef’s passion for cooking has led him to revive several ancient recipes from the Sorrentine Peninsula, creating a unique blend of flavours that gives an insight in to the region’s rich culture and history. Of course if you’re venturing further afield then Sorrento offers plenty of restaurants and cafés to tempt your taste buds and the Campania region, like most of Italy, is famed for its incredible dining.
