Your Itinerary —
Fly to Split where you will be met and transferred to your cruise ship, a Category A+ Croatian Coastal Cruiser. After lunch, set sail and cruise along the Makarska Riviera. There's free time to swim, sunbathe or stroll the pretty streets of Makarska to admire the picturesque churches and other architectural and cultural delights. Alternatively, perhaps join the optional Cetina River white water rafting excursion. Overnight in the port of Makarska. Includes Lunch
DAY 2 : Mljet.
Continue your Croatian adventure early this morning and cruise towards the island of Mljet. Thought to be one of the most beautiful islands in the Adriatic, Mljet is a tiny, unspoilt paradise fringed with a soft, sandy shoreline and burgeoning with ripe, green forestry and rich Mediterranean flora. This afternoon, take in the stunning scenery, including the vast salt lakes within the National Park. You may wish to rent a boat to explore the National Park from a different vantage point or, perhaps hire a bicycle and head to the old abbey and church. Spend the night moored in the port of Polaca or Pomena. Includes Breakfast, Lunch
DAY 3 : Dubrovnik.
After breakfast set sail for Dubrovnik, one of the highlights of your cruise. Enjoy some beautiful scenery en route to Dubrovnik - an area dubbed 'Heaven on Earth' by the famous writer George Bernard Shaw. Arrive in Dubrovnik this afternoon and spend time exploring at leisure or join a guided city tour. Take a walk through the legendary Stradun, located within the city walls. If you are feeling particularly energetic, why not walk along the top of the 1940 metre long city walls, for an alternative view of the enchanting city? The ship remains moored overnight in the port of Dubrovnik. Includes Breakfast, Lunch
DAY 4 : Sipan and Trstenik.
The morning is free to explore Dubrovnik in more depth. Discover the rich history and natural beauty of the city as you roam through the narrow streets and take in the monuments and quaint buildings. At lunch time, leave this magnificent city and continue your cruise towards the isle of Sipan and the pretty little town of Trstenik on the Peljesac Peninsula, where you can swim during the afternoon and spend the night. DAY 5 : Korcula.
Enjoy breakfast whilst cruising towards Korcula, the birthplace of Marco Polo. After lunch on board, with the shoreline of Lumbarda as your backdrop, arrive at the port in Korcula and spend the afternoon at leisure. Korcula is a quaint medieval island-town, filled with narrow stone streets and romantic churches. As you explore the island, you will learn more about the local legends and the history behind the island's intriguing monuments. Includes Breakfast, Lunch
DAY 6 : Hvar.
Depart for the quaint Pakleni Islands this morning, where you will have the opportunity to swim in the crystal clear waters. After lunch on board your cruise continues towards Hvar, the longest island in the Adriatic. Hvar is rich in history and culture and renowned for its wealth of sunshine, cultivated vineyards, and burgeoning fields of lavender, rosemary, sage, marjoram and thyme. Founded in 1612, the city is home to a variety of restaurants, bars and cafés, which will keep you entertained long into the night. Includes Breakfast, Lunch
DAY 7 : Brac - Split.
Sail to the island of Brac for a swim by one of the most famous beaches in Dalmatia - Zlatni Rat - near Bol. After lunch, continue to Split. Arriving late afternoon, enjoy dramatic views of Split Riviera as you approach the port. An impressive UNESCO World Heritage Site, Split boasts abundant Roman architecture, including the Diocletian's Palace. Why not join a guided city tour or perhaps enjoy an evening relaxing in one of the city's many bars or restaurants? Includes Breakfast, Lunch
DAY 8 : Split - UK.
After breakfast, disembark your ship and transfer to the airport for your flight to the UK or perhaps extend your stay on the Dalmatian Coast. Includes Breakfast
