According to legend, the pagoda is over 2500 years old but was rebuilt in the 1880s and used by the British as the nucleus for the city's grid pattern. Visit the Chaukhtatgyi Reclining Buddha which, at over 246 feet, is thought to be one of the largest of its kind, before your sightseeing concludes with a visit to the gleaming Shwedagon Pagoda, towering almost 320 feet above the green cityscape of Yangon.

A wonder of the religious world, Shwedagon Pagoda is plated in gold and topped with 4531 diamonds, the largest being a single 76 carat diamond. Hotel – Sedona Yangon 4*
