Bad Gastein has a long history because of its thermal water. For centuries visitors have come and enjoy the healing and relaxing properties of the waters. The thermal spa in this Small Luxury Hotel in the mountains is the ideal place to relax and allow your everyday worries to melt away.

The 18-hole Gastein golf course is around 2 km from the Grüner Baum Hotel Village and offers glorious fairways for beginners and pros in a picturesque natural setting.

Salzburg is just a daytrip away -in 1.5 hours you can reach this historic city - with its impressive architecture of towering spires, formidable palaces and stunning mountains beyond, it is like something from an Austrian fairytale. Superior Double Room -Your room enjoys all modern conveniences with homely welcoming decor. Relax after a spa visit in your fluffy robe and slippers, and keep in touch with family and friends using the free wifi.

Most rooms also have a baclony so you can soak up the fresh mountain air each morning.

Your Board Basis —

This offer is based on a half board stay. (Daily breakfast and 5 course dinner)

The Grüner Baum Holiday Village is certified organic and invites you to thoroughly indulge your palate. the plantiful buffet breakfast and wide-ranging half-board offering are guaranteed 100% organic.

Our members can enjoy a daily 5 course dinner in the Gault Millau awarded organic restaurant, where the first-class chefs rely on varied Austrian and international cuisine, prepared with the best ingredients from the region. There is a large selection of fine wines which you can perfectly match to your food. (Drinks not included in half board stay.)

Your Time —

All hotel guests have free use of the thermal spa with sauna, steam bath, thermal pool and heated outdoor pool.

In the natural thermal spa  you’ll find an indoor pool and in the summertime an outdoor pool too. Both are filled with thermal water from the hotel's very own spring. You can also spend relaxing hours in the sauna and steam bath or have a  workout at the fitness room with an alpine view.

Your Journey —

Flights: The flights included are with either a scheduled or no-frills airline and are subject to live availability and prices can change. You can choose your preferred departure times during the booking process. Please select your flight options carefully as departure and arrival airports may differ.

Transfers: Can be added at the next stage of booking process for an additional fee (Salzburg Airport 99 km / 1.20 hrs)

Car Hire: Can be added at the next stage of booking process for an additional fee (flight inclusive offers only)

Meet & Greet —

If you are driving to the airport in the UK, and book our package including flights, you may wish to add our Meet and Greet service. Take the hassle out of airport parking and have an official representative take your car on arrival, and it will be waiting for you on your return.

This can be added at the next stage of booking process where available.

Car Hire —

Please note you cannot be guaranteed a specific make of car within a certain group.

The minimum age for driving a hire car in Austria is 21 and drivers must have held a full driving licence for a least 1 year. You must present a full valid driving licence on collection of the vehicle and in some cases a credit card deposit.

Your Contract —

If you book a package which includes flights, your contract will be with Voyage Privé. The air holiday package(s) shown are ATOL protected by the Civil Aviation Authority. Our ATOL number is 10170.

If you book a package which does not include flights, then ATOL protection does not apply. Your contract will be with the provider of the accommodation and not Voyage Privé. Voyage Privé acts only as agent for the accommodation provider.

Travel Documents —

Flight Inclusive Offers

You will receive an email confirming your booking within the next 48 hours.

Please check all details on this confirmation are correct. If there are any discrepancies, please notify us as soon as possible.

The airline is ticketless and therefore, you will not receive any hard copy documents. You will however, receive an email from us detailing your flight information and reference number to enable you to manage your booking online via the airline website.

You will also receive an accommodation voucher for presentation at the hotel reception at point of check-in.

If you have booked transfers, Meet & Greet, car hire or airport lounges, you will receive a separate voucher for each of these services. Please note that transfer vouchers are sent directly from the transfer supplier.

Please do make sure that you either add Voyage Privé to your Safe Senders list or check your Junk mail regularly for your travel documents.

We will send all documents out as early as possible (subject to full payment being received) but you should receive all your documentation at least 10 days prior to departure.
