Your Itinerary —
Day 1: Arrival in Rio de Janeiro
Upon arrival at Rio de Janeiro International Airport, a specialized guide will be waiting for you at the arrival gate to transfer you to your hotel. On the way, you can admire the city, learn about its history and get some tips about the best things to do and the best restaurants to eat at. Upon check-in at 2pm, relax after a long journey.

After breakfast, convertible jeeps will arrive to transport you to iconic sights such as the Christ the Redeemer statue on top of Corcovado mountain before you continue onto the Urca neighbourhood to visit Sugar Loaf. The rest of the day is free to explore Rio de Janeiro at your leisure.

Day 3: Half Day Shared Tour of 'Secrets of Old Rio'
After breakfast you will be taken downtown for a walking tour that encompasses many important sights in the history of Rio, such as São Bento Monastery, Candelaria Church, XV Square, Travessa do Comércio (street market), Imperial Palace, French-Brazil House, Ouvidor Street and Gonçalves Dias Street, where the traditional Colombo Café and the Banco do Brasil Cultural Center are located. The tour continues to Uruguaiana Street, Carioca Square and the Metropolitan Cathedral before heading back to the hotel.

Day 4-5: Free time in Rio de Janeiro
Today you are free to explore one of the world's most recognisable cities at your leisure, this metropolis is a mix of quaint colonial architecture, booming businesses, and bikini clad bodies honing an ever deepening tan on Copacabana beach. The home of Samba and the Caipirinha cocktail, the city has an unmistakable party atmosphere all year round, which you can't help but be infected by!

Day 6: Rio de Janeiro - Buzios (approx. travel time: 3hrs / 185km)
After breakfast you will be transferred out of the city to the pristine beaches of Buzios. On the way you can admire the scenery as the city sights gives way to breathtaking countryside.

The area also has a lively night-life - head to Rua das Pedras for the best selection of bustling cafes, restaurants and boutique shops...no wonder it is fast becoming a favourite haunt of celebrities!

Day 10 or 13: Flight back to the UK
After breakfast you will be transferred to the airport in time for your flight home.
