Spinalonga is a small island, which closes the gulf of Elounda from the north at the region Merampellos, of the prefecture of Lasithi. Its ancient name was “Kalidon”, but after its occupation by the Venetians, it was renamed in the Latin language to “spina lunga”, meaning a “long thorn”. The present name of the little island was shaped after paraphrasing of the above mentioned. It was excellently fortressed by the Venetians, from constructing, architecture and the aesthetics of the whole region point of view, and preserves its beauty till nowadays.

Bungalows are built independently from the main building in a multi dwelling cluster and have easy access to the pool and their own private balcony or veranda overlooking the Gulf of Elounda. They feature spacious interiors, with orange being the dominant color, double or twin beds together, one bedroom with sitting area that can be converted to a third bed and bathroom with shower.
In-room facilities include full individually controlled air-conditioning / heating, satellite TV, direct dial digital phones, mini fridge, electronic laptop size safe deposit box, make-up mirror and elegant furniture, including sunbeds on your private veranda or balcony.
