Day 1: Luang Prabang - Arrival
Distance Luang Prabang airport to the town: 5km (3.11 miles) = 15 minutes

Luang Prabang is perhaps the best-preserved traditional city in Southeast Asia. The tranquility and charm of this town with its splendid natural scenery and cultural sights make it one of the most delightful places to visit in Laos. Day 2: Luang Prabang - Pak Ou Cave
For early risers, there is a very special dawn visit to watch the monks collecting the alms.  As the sun begins to rise, long lines of orange-robed monks leave their pagodas and walk barefoot down the streets collecting offerings from Luang Prabang residents.  It is a beautiful, serene ceremony that highlights the spiritualism of the Laos people.

After breakfast, we board a cruise upstream on the Mekong River, which also gives us a beautiful view of the tranquil countryside as well as an interesting visit to the mysterious of Pak Ou Caves, crammed with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues of various shapes and sizes. Return to the town by boat and have lunch at your own expense.

In the afternoon, we visit the National Museum at the former Royal Palace, which displays a lovely collection of the artifacts reflecting the richness of Lao culture dating from the days of the early kings right through the last sovereign.

Continue our city tour with the impressive stupa of Wat Visoun, the shrine of Wat Mai, the city's oldest temple of Wat Sene and the magnificent Wat Xieng Thong with its roofs sweeping low to the ground, which represent the classical architecture of Luang Prabang temple. Before the dark falls, we climb up to the top of Phousi Mount for an enjoyable exploration of the sacred, gilded stupa as well as a beautiful sunset view of the city and the Mekong River. From there, we explore Street Night Bazaar, where you can find the lovely collection and handmade textile by local and hill tribe people surrounding Luang Prabang. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

Day 3: Luang Prabang – Kuangsi Waterfall ½ day
After breakfast, you will travel by car through the Luang Prabang countryside to Kuang Si Waterfalls (32 km to the southwest of the city). Along the way by the Mekong River with various viewpoints, you will witness gorgeous landscapes of many rice fields, hills, and villages.  An opportunity for you to learn about the traditions and culture of an ethnic minority at a village where the local people have remained their culture unchanged for centuries.

Upon reaching Kuang Si Waterfalls, relax and enjoy the magnificent natural surroundings. The water tumbles down and cascades gently into several cool, clear pools where you can enjoy a refreshing swim. The adventurous may walk to the top of the falls via a steep track where stunning views are awaiting them. Kuang Si Waterfalls also is a place where a rescue center for protecting sunbears, the endangered species, is located.

Afternoon is free at leisure, or pleasant walking around the old town.

Day 4: Luang Prabang – free
A free day in Siem Reap to do whatever takes your fancy!

Day 5: Luang Prabang – Siem Reap  (flight)
Distance Siem Reap airport to the town: 5km (3.11 miles) = 15 minutes

After breakfast, you are free until transfer to airport for a flight to Siem Reap. Upon arrival, you will be met by our guide and transferred to your hotel. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 6: Siem Reap – Angkor Wat – Angkor Thom – Ta Prohm – Pre Rup
After breakfast, we start a very special and busy day as you will explore some of Angkor’s most beautiful temples. You will visit the West Gate of Angkor Thom – undiscovered by mass tourist.

In the afternoon, you will visit the famous temple: Angkor Wat. Angkor Wat is a World Heritage Site since 1992, famous for its beauty and splendor. Angkor Wat features the longest continuous bas-relief in the world, which runs along the outer gallery walls and narrates stories from Hindu mythology. We continue to visit the fabulous Ta Prohm embraced by the roots of enormous fig trees and gigantic creepers. Ta Prohm was built in the 12th century. It’s a Buddhist temple dedicated to the mother of King Jayavarman VII.  Pre Rup temple was built in the 10th century during the reign of King Rajendravarman II. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 7: Siem Reap – Tonle Sap Lake
In the morning, visit Tonle Sap Great Lake for cruising, visiting fisherman’s life, floating fishing village dot the semi-submerged forest that lines the flood plant rim of the lake.

Afternoon is free at leisure or you can join an optional tour of a cooking class, or another temple visit.

Day 8: Siem Reap – free
A free day to explore the town, the temples more, or local markets or enjoy a massage!

Day 9: Siem Reap – Danang (flight) – Hoi An
Distance from Danang to the beach resort: 15km = 9.5 miles = 30 minutes

You will be free today in Siem Reap until being transferred to the airport for a flight to Danang. Upon arrival, you’re welcomed by our driver and check in your beach resort.
Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 10 to day 12: Hoi An – free (B)
Three free days at your beach resort for relaxing!

Day 13: Hoi An – Danang - Departure (B)
You will be free today until drive to the airport for your departure flight.
