Wind down in style in ancient Prague

A mix of old and new, east and west, stylish and rustic, Prague is the ultimate in romantic city breaks. From the beautiful Charles Bridge which spans the Vltava river, to the ancient castle high on the hill, and everything in between, this city is a veritable treasure trove of pleasures both simple and sophisticated. Chill out in one of the many traditional bars which line the tight and twisty streets, or hit the tiles in some of the best bars in Europe. If the mood takes you, it's only too easy to gorge yourself on the city's fascinating history at one of a number of museums, or simply take a walk in the hillside parks which surround the city - there are gems at every turn.

Embrace your inner culture vulture in a city that has it all

If a day spent sight-seeing isn't your idea of romantic, perhaps diving headfirst into Prague's cultural delights is more your thing. From the city's epic light festival which turns the night sky into a beautiful kaleidoscope, to numerous art galleries such as the Lobkowicz Palace or the Prague Castle Picture Gallery, high-class entertainment might just be the aphrodisiac you need to make your trip to Prague one of the romantic getaways you'll remember for the rest of your life.

Musical attractions abound too though, with world-renowned jazz bars and electronica clubs that will blow your mind - and hopefully not your eardrums. Dance the night away to music that'll make your heart sing; there really is something for everyone in Prague. Perhaps a romantic late-night walk back to your accommodation might see you lucky enough to come across some of the charming impromptu street music which adds flavour to this gorgeous city.

Step away from the ancient streets and into the most beautiful gardens

Prague's communist past lends the city a sense of the exotic, but modern Prague is much more than smoky, Soviet-era bars. Escape the mundanity of everyday life and celebrate romance by taking a boating trip on the twisting river which criss-crosses the city, or climb one of the hills which surround it to enjoy the paradises that are the city's parks and gardens. There are over two hundred to choose from... what better way is there to finish a romantic city break in Prague than by watching the sun set over Prague from above?

After all of that thirsty work, our only recommendation would be to sit back, relax, and enjoy one of Prague's world famous beers to end one of the finest romantic weekends you'll ever have. Having enjoyed our fantastic offers, you'll be happy to make the most of your time on holiday!

Royal Prague Hotel At first the location is really top. Gold from the tourist area but 3 minutes walk from the metro and 10 minutes by subway from the city center. The room I was on the 7th floor the view is not terrible but .... a very nice spacious room, a bathroom to the divine Italian with two washbasin. A large double bed bedding at the top we slept very well. Cleanliness level 10/10 The breakfast buffet varied hearty salty sweet fresh produce nothing to complain about. Unfortunately, we had no time to test the Spa. Basically a hotel really on top, smiling and pleasant employees

The proximity to Prague's Old Town, 2 metro stops away. The friendliness of the staff of the hotel and the people of Prague in general, despite the language barrier ... Many tourist offices in the old town
