Your Destination —

Being the northernmost capital in the world, Reykjavik might welcome you with the stunning Northern Lights, when you visit in the winter. Reykjavik is always charming and combines cutting-edge urban lifestyles with the dynamic natural wonders that embraces the city.

The hotel is only a short bus ride away from Reykjavik's major attractions like the National Museum and University of Iceland. The Nordic house is just around the corner and the city center with its perpetual motion, museums, restaurants and shops, is only minutes away.

The old harbour is the heart and soul of Reykjavík. With a backdrop of majestic Mount Esja and the beautiful Faxafloi Bay, you'll find world-class restaurants, cutting edge galleries, funky cafés, and quirky shops. With it all, you’re still at the heart of a working harbour, where you can watch ships come in with their daily catches.

For stunning views of the city climb up Hallgrímskirkja Church tower or visit the pearl - an otherworldly creation with a viewing platform and a revolving restaurant on top of hot water storage tanks.

Your Itinerary —

Itinerary 1 (4 Days)
Day 1: Upon arrival you will be transferred to 22 Hill Hotel for your 3 night stay (early check-in is not guaranteed).
Day 2: After breakfast, enjoy a day exploring Reykjavik or the surrounding area.   At either 20:30 or 21:30 you will be picked up from in front of your hotel for your northern lights tour.
Day 3: After breakfast you will be transferred to the Secret Lagoon where you can bathe in this incredible geothermal spa before being returned to the hotel.
Day 4: After breakfast you will be transferred to the airport for you flight home.

Itinerary 2 (5 Days)
Day 1: Upon arrival you will be transferred to 22 Hill Hotel for your 3 night stay (early check-in is not guaranteed).
Day 2: After breakfast, enjoy a day exploring Reykjavik or the surrounding area.   At either 20:30 or 21:30 you will be picked up from in front of your hotel for your northern lights tour.
Day 3: After breakfast you will be transferred to the Secret Lagoon where you can bathe in this incredible geothermal spa before being returned to the hotel.
Day 4: Today is free to explore the wild beauty of Iceland at your leisure. 
Day 5: After breakfast you will be transferred to the airport for you flight home.

Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis)

Duration:    3 - 5 hours
Included:    Guided tour with pick-up & drop-off at the hotel
Timings:     This tour will begin at 9pm (1st November 2016 - 14th March 2017) or 10pm (15th March - 13th April 2017); please be waiting outside the hotel 30mins before departure.

Experience the mysterious and beautiful Northern Lights in Iceland. Watch their swirling wild dance across the night sky in fantastic shapes and colours.

The Northern Lights Tour takes you out of Reykjavik city to the best places to see Northern Lights and witness one of nature’s most spectacular displays.

When to see the Northern Lights
The season for Northern Lights in Iceland extends from the tail end of the summer from September through winter and well into April.

The best time to see Northern Lights is in the middle of winter when the weather is the coldest and when it is the darkest. Crisp cold evenings with skies clear enough to see stars is a prime indicator for auroral activity.

Please note that this tour is subject to weather conditions. Sightings cannot be guaranteed. In case of no northern lights during the tour, a second tour is offered free of charge

The Secret Lagoon

Duration:    4.5 hours
Included:    Unguided transfer with pick-up & drop-off at the hotel, admission to the Secret Lagoon & towel Rental
Timings:     Please be waiting in front your your hotel from 11:30am 

This natural crystal-clear lagoon is one of the oldest natural geothermal pools in Iceland. It is surrounded by beautiful,  active little geysers.  One of them erupts every few minutes.  The Secret Lagoon is a cosy geothermal spa nestled in Flúðir, a town in the beautiful scenery of South Iceland known for its many hot springs.  Simmering around 36 to 40°C the Secret Lagoon's waters will sooth your muscles & contains minerals and salts that are essential for wellbeing.

Please note: Bathrobe, towel, bathing suit, slippers can be rented (fees apply)

Centrally located next to the city’s financial district, and Laugardalur valley, a major centre for sports and recreation in the capital, 22 Hill Hotel offers refreshing accommodation just two kilometres from the city centre.  With a bus stop only 240 metres away, it’s easy to access museums and shopping destinations throughout Reykjavik.  The hotel is also surrounded by an assortment of dining options.

Your Room
Fully equipped bathrooms and Free WiFi Internet make the 20 sqm Standard Rooms a cosy home away from home. You can take care of business at the convenient work desk, or you can relax in the plush chair while watching satellite television.

Your Journey —

Flights: The flights included are with either a scheduled or no frills airline and are subject to live availability and prices can change. You can choose your preferred departure times during the booking process. Please select your flight options carefully as departure and arrival airports may differ.

Transfers: Shared transfers are included throughout.

The transfer time / distance from Keflavik Airport to 22 Hill Hotel is approximately 45min / 50km by car.

Your contract will be with Voyage Privé. The air holiday package(s) shown are ATOL protected by the Civil Aviation Authority. Our ATOL number is 10170.

Travel Documents —

Once the booking process is complete, you will receive an automatic confirmation email from Voyage Prive detailing your chosen travel arrangements.

Your official ATOL receipt and booking confirmation issued by the Tour Operator will follow within 5 days.

We will send all documents out as early as possible (subject to full payment being received) but you should receive all your documentation at least 10 days prior to departure.  Generally, travel documents are sent via email however, in some cases they will be sent by post.

If you have booked Meet & Greet, you will receive a separate voucher for this via email.
Please do make sure that you add Voyage Prive to your Safe Senders list and check your Junk mail regularly for your travel documents.
